This is an update to the market fix thread from below. However, to fix streaming audio quality, it also requires build.prop changes.So please disregard that thread and take a look at this one.

I am working on android for omap zoom2 target. When I play audio clips, playback is fine and audio is coming via headset connected. But I can only hear the audio from left channel, nothing is audible from right channel. How to get stereo audio output via headset.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAnyone else have this problem? about 1 out of 4 calls the people on the other end (whether they call me or i call them) can hear me but i can't hear them. just happened again, though this time i tried 5 times in a row to make a call and it apparently went through but i had no audio. finally on the 6th try i could hear. also, i received a call but the phone never rung.
on an unrelated note i just had to resign into google. and a couple of forced close problems. hoping this isn't 2.1 related. though i had the audio problem before.
I am looking into writing some apps for Android phones that work with audio. These phones do not have a line in jack but do have headphone jacks that work with some headsets that include a microphone. Is it possible to work with audio coming in through the headphone jack if I plugged in something like a portable computer mic?

1. No app-to-SD function
2. No flash (not even flash-lite)
3. Apparently no live wallpaper from Sony (does that mean we won't get Live Wallpaper at all?)

Well... good news is SE apparently has realized they should not have dug too deep into the Android core, but just layer them over. It took them over 9 months to realize this? What will this signify for us, X10 owners? Is that their way of telling us, give up on X10, and get their next Android product?
I've downloaded youtube videos as MP4 on 2.1 and then converted it to MP3. Just by changing .mp4 to .mp3 and the music player was able to read it and I'm able to put it in playlist and listen to it. Now that I've rooted to 2.2 Music player no longer reads it.Have you guys had this problem?

The "droid" audio that i had is gone and i see no way to enable it.Any one expierence this or have a fix? In 2.1 there was a sd mount option in the sound settings but that seems to be gone now.

View 23 Replies View RelatedI was testing my phone and found that if i JUST set it to sleep it will notify me of new emails. But i waited until it was asleep for over 25 min and i sent 2 emails from 2 different email accounts and neither one showed up on my phone until i unlocked it and hit airplane mode and then unchecked airplane mode. i have the mobile data set to always on. I do have only 1 bar at -99 signal strength. but if i turn on and off airplane mode the emails come right in after a prolonged sleep.
View 9 Replies View RelatedWildest and saddest thing ever just happened to my incredible. I'm in Virginia for a wedding where the air is around 100 degrees. I had been carrying my phone in my hand all day as I normally do and went into the air conditioned church, which was around 65. I went to take a picture with my phone and the screen shattered where I was holding it in the corner and spiderwebbed across the phone. The screen and touch still works, i just have a difficult time reading through the cracks. This is the saddest thing ever because I literally baby my phones and have never lost or broken a phone in the 12 years I've had a cell phone. I'm going to go into Verizon and see what can be done since I have insurance... im just scared of this insurance company since ive heard so many terrible things about it. It's also annoying because i had been planning on taking it in anyways because it will not read my microsd card and hasnt for the past two weeks. Just be careful of temperature changes. I know some people won't believe this story but i guess it was one of those fluke things that with my awesome luck had to happen. It's just so annoying that they put glass in a phone that can't even resist changes of fourty degrees. I'm definitely regretting not getting a phone with gorilla class. Has this happened to anyone else?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI had my phone charging at my desk when I suddenly noticed a high pitched whine/chirping coming from somewhere. I was quickly able to pinpoint it -- it's my charger.
I did a Google search and it seems to be a fairly common issue with AC wall chargers.
I'm just curious, is this something I should be concerned about? While it's annoying, I can certainly put up with it until I can have Verizon replace it but I don't want to have to stress about some electrical surge nuking my phone.
Oh, just now the charging finished and as soon as it did (mind you it's still plugged in) the noise ceased.
I put some MP3s on my Inc and the audio player plays them fine and they're pretty loud coming out of the speaker.
Now, I took one of those MP3s and set it as my ring tone. I turned the ringtone volume all the way up and when I got a call, it's like half the volume as it played as an MP3.
Why do I lose so much volume? Is there any way to make that louder?
I have deleted a lot of my apps deleted mail (and it keeps coming back after being deleted.) This phone is a joke. I should of known better. the other 2 HTC's were pieces of CRAP!
