But I was wondering if there is a way to change the "Droid" graphic when a call is coming in. I would like either a choice of graphic or no graphic at all.

I have a graphic in Adobe Illustrator (lets say a cat) that I want to use in an Android application. I would like to have the user be able to change the color of the fur using a color picker. What can I save the graphic as (SVG?) to allow me to programatically control the color from with the android app? Do I have to have a separate image for each color of the cat?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am running 1.5..When I get a 2nd incoming call my phone does a lond double beep and cuts out current call..I can't hear the 1st caller and they can't hear me...Has anyone had this problem and if so how can I fix it...Verizon of course has never heard this complaint..I did a full reset...Even with just stock apps it does this..They offered to send me a refurb one...
View 2 Replies View RelatedAnyone have a problem with the onscreen keypad not coming up when a call is in progress? My credit card company called me with an automated message to notify me about possible fraud on one of my credit cards. At one point to continue with the call, I had to press "1", but the onscreen keypad would not come up when I tapped on the keypad icon. I kept tapping but nothing happened, and ended up losing the call. The keypad icon has worked on other calls, just not this one.

But when I pushed the message icon the end call screen kept coming up and when I went on the internet and went back to home screen later on today it brought up google home page over and over instead of the message app. I am using the one that came with the phone. 2) Has anyone figured out a way to change the end button behavior that was previously controlled by the Spare Parts app? I would like to end button to go home and then go to sleep but Spare Parts can't do it under the new software. Any ideas?

View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen I finish a call on my Droid it displays the "cute" little android dude and seems to always have a Cadillax CRX/Google Advert. Anyway to change the pic. I found an app that shows constellations instead but I wonder if this is something I can just do myself? And why are there adverts, it doesn't really bother me but I didn't get some special deal on the phone so why should I be forced to see the Advertising? Oh I just had a thought - is this a result of using google voice?

View 23 Replies View RelatedI was testing my phone and found that if i JUST set it to sleep it will notify me of new emails. But i waited until it was asleep for over 25 min and i sent 2 emails from 2 different email accounts and neither one showed up on my phone until i unlocked it and hit airplane mode and then unchecked airplane mode. i have the mobile data set to always on. I do have only 1 bar at -99 signal strength. but if i turn on and off airplane mode the emails come right in after a prolonged sleep.

Wildest and saddest thing ever just happened to my incredible. I'm in Virginia for a wedding where the air is around 100 degrees. I had been carrying my phone in my hand all day as I normally do and went into the air conditioned church, which was around 65. I went to take a picture with my phone and the screen shattered where I was holding it in the corner and spiderwebbed across the phone. The screen and touch still works, i just have a difficult time reading through the cracks. This is the saddest thing ever because I literally baby my phones and have never lost or broken a phone in the 12 years I've had a cell phone. I'm going to go into Verizon and see what can be done since I have insurance... im just scared of this insurance company since ive heard so many terrible things about it. It's also annoying because i had been planning on taking it in anyways because it will not read my microsd card and hasnt for the past two weeks. Just be careful of temperature changes. I know some people won't believe this story but i guess it was one of those fluke things that with my awesome luck had to happen. It's just so annoying that they put glass in a phone that can't even resist changes of fourty degrees. I'm definitely regretting not getting a phone with gorilla class. Has this happened to anyone else?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI had my phone charging at my desk when I suddenly noticed a high pitched whine/chirping coming from somewhere. I was quickly able to pinpoint it -- it's my charger.
I did a Google search and it seems to be a fairly common issue with AC wall chargers.
I'm just curious, is this something I should be concerned about? While it's annoying, I can certainly put up with it until I can have Verizon replace it but I don't want to have to stress about some electrical surge nuking my phone.
Oh, just now the charging finished and as soon as it did (mind you it's still plugged in) the noise ceased.
I put some MP3s on my Inc and the audio player plays them fine and they're pretty loud coming out of the speaker.
Now, I took one of those MP3s and set it as my ring tone. I turned the ringtone volume all the way up and when I got a call, it's like half the volume as it played as an MP3.
Why do I lose so much volume? Is there any way to make that louder?
I've created 4 separate .png files with the appropriate specs (180w x 120h, PNG, full bleed, no border art) for 4 projects. I cannot upload any of them to my projects. In each case, I receive the error: "The promotional graphic must be a PNG or JPEG image file."
