I recently rooted my galaxy 2 sgh-t989d. Then i installed some root apps including tor and every app on my phone goes through tor now. My bittorrent still worked. In between I think I flashed a clockwork recovery mod through rom manager. Now my torrents won't start and get no peers. I've tried utorrent and bittorrent.

When i downloading torrents using my android phone over the WiFi, its connection lost several times. My phone WiFi policy is "Keep WI-Fi on during sleep" as "Always". I use "Torrent" app client. Most of the time Torrent display "No suitable network" error. If i turn on the screen, problem not fix.
I have android 4.0.3 ROM and i connected my phone into my ADSL router, not a public.
Is there a fix/hack to get BitTorrent Sync to use my ethernet connection? I got the same issue on both Android 4.2.2 and 4.4.2 on my Radxa Rock.
BitTorrent Sync isn't able to use my ethernet connection to sync files. All other apps I have tried so far is using the ethernet connection to get online but it seems like BitTorrent Sync only recognizes Wi-fi and mobile connections. I have tried enabling the settings to enable it to sync over mobile thinking it would try to sync on anything available but it did nothing.
I have downloaded the official BitTorrent Beta app countless of times. But when I've installed MIUI it says device incompatible. Although I've downloaded countless of times. And I'm not comfortable using other clients because this is the best one. So, any apk for it?
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy internet package is capped but has unlimited usage between 2am to 8am. I have an internet stick (MK808B) running rooted jelly bean connected to my TV that I want to use as an overnight torrent client, but am having no luck finding a solution to the scheduling problem.
I've looked for an android torrent client with a scheduler or a firewall application that can block an app during specific times of day, but have found neither.
I just setup Bittorrent Sync on my Motorola Razr M and Nexus 10 so that all photos taken on my phone can be viewed on both devices. The sync has worked as far as I can tell (if I go into BT sync on the tablet i can view all the files downloaded to the device and view them by clicking on them individually). The only problem is that if I go into my Gallery on my tablet it has not automatically detected the photos, even though when I click on them via BT Sync the are displayed using the gallery app.
How I can make my Gallery automatically show them in my albums? It seems to show other random photos (ie. album covers from music folders I have transferred over) but no the ones I want. I was under the impression that the Gallery app did automatically index all the photo files on the device.
I've never used the wifi hotspot feature on my EVO, but it seems pretty simple as to how it works... What I'm wondering is if it functions like a typical wireless router. Specifically, does it create a LAN network between connects peers? I'm wondering if it would be at all possible to do something like play (low bandwith) multiplayer LAN games over the EVO's wifi hotspot?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just got my new Droid X (2.2-rooted) and I have downloaded the wifi tether app from android-wifi-tether and I want to set up a secure, private connection in general for my laptop and phone as well as for downloading torrents on my laptop through my phone. I tried using the TOR/Orbit app but it's not working. I use Peerblock/Vuze on my laptop that will be handling my torrents but am not sure if that will keep me private over my wifi tether... I would think not. Please help me if you can. Any suggestions on configurations that would help me do this? I also just heard something about Torrent-Fu... not sure what that is yet but maybe it will help as well.

View 12 Replies View Relatedmy girl just updated her s4 to 4.4.2 a couple days ago. She cannot download anything, it is giving her a "Former Volume not mounted" error. We have tried:
1) restarting phone
2) Unmounting SD Card and mounting back
3) Uninstalling app and reinstalling
I assume it is cause in 4.4.2 Samsung changed the read/write permissions regarding 3rd party apps. She says that she cannot even save the file location to the internal memory to save it, then move it when its done.
I'm new to BitTorrent but have a long bus ride tomorrow and wanted to download some movies to watch on the way. How do I get them my download folder to the point where I can view them on my phone? Is this even possible?

Some days ago I received the (so called "stable") update to 10.1 and installed it (gapps 121212 too).
Unfortunately, the stable 10.1 turned out to be rather unstable: Apps (Google Play Music, Skype, Youtube, SMS, ...) either crashed on device startup or as soon as the app was started.
SMS frequently froze the whole phone. The former rather fast and stable device became an unstable and failure-prone device
Installing diverse nightly builds didn't improve the situation, so I decidet to roll back to 10.0.
Again, a bad decision! After installing it, CM won't boot any more. I can see the boot-image (the circle of death, as I call it by now) and that's it!
I tried to reboot in recovery mode, but I cannot switch options with the volume keys. The only option I have is to boot into the broken system...
Below the android icon it reads: Downloading.. Do not turn off target!
Nexus Root Toolkit does'nt recognize it (neither as fastboot nor as adb device).
My computer system ist Windows XP SP 3.
BTW: I don't know if this Information is relevant: The Android-Icon in recovery mode is not a lying one with its belly open but the standard 2D-Android-icon. And, perhaps more grave: Due to security concerns, ADB was disabled in my (then working) Cyanogenmod-OS...
i installed the ics4 as shown in XDA web site and every thing was alright but when it start in first boot it gave me screen of welcome and change language then chose the time zone, when i press next to proceed it gave me error message (unfortunately, com.google.android.gsf.login has stopped). And gave me two choice (ok&report)if i press OK it return me back to the welcome screen. i tried to install a new radio ROM, another kernel but useless.

I have installed adb plus.. But some apps don't start because of it.. An error appears saying "you have to disable adblock to run the app".. I cannot each time to uninstall adblock and reinstall it after I've used that app..

View 2 Replies View RelatedI rooted my One X a while back and it has been fine and only now I decided to install a ROM.
I went for Cyanogenmod 9 and followed the instructions to install it on my phone.
IT went smoothly and runs okay as far as I can tell apart from Recovery Mode.
Everytime I go to boot into recovery it just starts the phone as usual. It doesn't get stuck on the boot screen or anything, it starts just like normal but it doesn't start in recovery!
I have tried doing to through the Power + Volume Down method and through CLockworkMod app, no luck.
I have also tried to reflash Recovry but it still doesn't start.
I want to stop and start tasker by itself via a bashscript since I see no other way to do so. This works if you put in terminal line by line:

I make root at one LG e510, after I put Rom manager and install custom recovery clockworkmod recovery. Everything fine till here, but after try to acces recovery, spears only stock recovery and not custom recovery.

I was inventing the heapsize lowering the build.prop to 8m and mobile is not starting anymore. It sits at the boot screen looking like it is failing to boot and is restarting. How do I edit the build.prop by the computer so I can change the heapsize in build.prop?

So how can I make the activity auto focus the text to input? or can I call the keyboard activity and the text box will be auto focused? if yes, how?
