May 6, 2010At work I have my phone in my pocket, on vibrate, quite a bit and a lot of times I don't feel the initial vibration. So I end up missing the message until I physically take the phone out and look to see if I have any messages. My Dare that I just upgraded from sent out a vibration every couple of minutes until I checked the phone and dismissed the notifications. Would love to find out if this is possible with the DI.

Mar 2, 2010How can I completely silence everything in the phone? I long press the red end button and from the pop up, I choose silent. That works for phone calls / email notifications / text notifications. However, after I did that, I went to Slacker and it started playing (even though I had the silent icon in the notification area). I had to then press the down volume key to turn off the media volume.Is there a way to make everything silent without downloading a 3rd party app?

May 3, 2010I recently tried flashing Demagless 2.0.8 and now my phone is stuck on the HTC Black logo screen while the phone is starting up I have done a clean wipe and reflashed demageless 2.0.7.2 and also fresh 2d but now I get the same problem previously I've had fresh 2d installed and worked perfectly fine. I can still access my root but no matter what rom I flash it won't start up.

Aug 6, 2009does this put the phone in silent mode whatever you are doing or does it only silent an incoming call?For me its hit and miss.it will ring/vibrate upside down, so then i have to turn it the right way and then turn it back upside down for it to go silent.this would have been ideal for me when in meetings, but if it only works if you turn it upside down when you get a call its not as useful.

Feb 5, 2010When I first plugged in my ear phones into my first Hero phone after a while (5 min) the songs shuttled and turned itself off. I tried to listen to some music again but the phone didn?t recognise that the ear phones were plugged in after that. I sent that phone back and got a new phone. I was going to wait until 2.1 OS came out but when I heard that it wasn?t coming out till March I thought I might try this new phone out been as though I have had it for a couple of months without listening to any music (expected the same though). And the same happen again. It sounds like its the 1.5 OS or the ROM not updated yet because I had already set up all the phone before I realised I had to do this. So thats why I decided to wait until 2.1 and get it all over with and hope it solves the problem.

I tried the lock screen and ended up locking my phone out due to too many tries in my pocket and ending up having to reset my phone to use again. I then started showing him some of our apps like shopsavvy and google skymap along with the SenseUI. His respose was to say "I bet you cant do this" - his iPhone then made a puny fart sound. The was no choice for me at this stage - I launched "Noble Fart" and activated a long wet one - his face dropped at the superiority of the sound and the iPhone got put back in his pocket. All I had to contend with then was the look on our wive's faces along with most of the table's occupants near to us!

Jan 7, 2010Every time I start my phone it seems that every program in the app catalog starts up. Until I activate the Advanced Task Killer and shut them all down, the thing runs like a hog. I have quite a few programs installed, but I dont use them all all of the time. Why do they all start up and is there any way beside the ATK to stop them?
