When I trun my phone on, the scene changes from the scene I had chosen (the waving grass) to "current (unsaved)".If I change it to the one I prefer (saved with my name) I am asked to "save or cancel" the incorrect one.I click cancel, and all is well.But why does it change and how do I keep the scene selected that I want?I just want it to stick on the scene that I have chosen.

So after rooting my phone. Couple days later i had it charging and decided to turn off my phone and before I knew it. It automatically turn itself back on? Y is that? I am using bb 0.4 p3 kernel 1.0 on blue energy theme.

View 2 Replies View RelatedOk, this is really strange about 3 days ago my Incredible would just randomly turn off (the battery wasn't even close to being an issue.) When I tried to turn the power on the phone would not respond at all. If I take the battery out and put it back in, the phone will boot just fine....This has happened 4 or 5 times in the last 3 days. Additionally today for some other strange reason I was on a call and the phone randomly would end the call. I wasn't hitting the end key on accident I had the phone on speaker, so I am not sure if its a related issue.

Now... I use Locale for the following:
- Turning the ringer down when I get to work (obviouse one)
- Turning GPS/Bluetooth/wifi on when I plug it in the phone (think car dock)
- Turn on Wifi when I get near my known hot spots.
- Turn off GPS/Bluetooth/wifi off and turn down brightness when my battery is low.
And the last one is a good one for me...
- I have a GV number. When I call my phone from that number, it turns the ringer volume all the way up and it turns on wifi and GPS. This is my "lost phone aid". It turns on the locating features so I can see where the phone is using iGoogle and Latitude, and I can hear the phone if it is "in the cushions" on vibrate.
Anyone else get creative with Locale?
I found that by typing on the call screen:

I try it and this is working on my Samsung Galaxy S II. But... any gadget or a small program (maybe on Market) whit which this can be done? (with simple one touch of a single icon on the screen)
I've looked and haven't found anything similar. I use the HTC widgets to turn WiFi, GPS, and Mobile Network on and off for when I'm at home (WiFi) and out (GPS and 3G on).
I've noticed several times that, although the switches are in the right positions, when I'm out I have no data connection. No 3G in the status bar either. When I reboot the phone everything is fine, so it's not the area I'm in. Any ideas?
sometimes i just want to unplug my phone after it is done charging without turning it on. 90% of the time it turns on after i unplug it, is there any way to avoid this?

Not only is this unpleasant when I have the phone to my ear, but it's also an annoyance to the person I'm talking to as they hear the vibrate sounds. In fact any time I'm talking to my girlfriend and my phone vibrates, she asks "who is texting you now?" I really just want the notification turned off while I'm on a call. Is there a way to prevent this from happening while on the phone?

I did most of the suggestions in the battery fix threads, and I managed to only drop to about 60% battery after 24 hours, even with decent usage. The problem that I discovered today was that I seem to be unable to pair to any Bluetooth devices after turning the radio back on (first time trying to pair). When I turn everything on, I simply can't see anything when I search for devices. I put the earpiece that I'm trying to link to in discovery mode, and the phone never sees it. Neither does it see the printer Bluetooth interface or the PC Bluetooth. The printer, at least, should be always discoverable.Finally, I tried linking to my wife's phone, and it could neither see her phone when I set it to discoverable, nor could her phone see mine when I made it discoverable.It looks to me as if my Bluetooth radio is completely non-functional, but does anyone know if there may be something simple that I'm missing? A hidden setting or a Bluetooth diagnostic test that I could run (loopback or other)? Does anyone know if the Bluetooth module is integrated on the main PCA or is a add-on module that might be disconnected?

View 10 Replies View RelatedI try to wait until my phone tells me my battery is low to charge.When I went to bed last night, my phone still had 1/2 the battery life left so I did not bother to plug it in.When I got up and went to use my phone,it had shut off during the night.Like any normal person I tried to charge it- no luck.The phone would not charge and would not turn on.I removed the battery and replaced it.Luckily it turned back on and I still had 1/3 of my battery life left.Has anyone else had this issue?It has randomly rebooted, but I've never encountered this before where the phone just shut down completely into a hard lock.Anyone else? I'm thinking it must be an app turning it off, but I have gone through each one and can't for the life of me figure out what is causing this.

I googled around and found that this problem has been around for a while and a lot of people are complaining about this however there still isn't any solution. View 4 Replies View RelatedI just want to verify that my phone is off before bed, because I forget whether I've turned off my phone or whether it's just sleeping.I pick up my phone, but I can't verify that it's turned off without unintentionally turning it on, because the only way to check that I know of is to press the power/sleep button. Unfortunately, that will turn on the phone if I've already turned it off, and therefore I have to wait as it boots up, then power it down.Is there a way to verify that an Evo phone is turned off without turning it on in the process of verifying that it is off?
View 12 Replies View RelatedI am having an issue with my HTC Droid Incredible. When going to Settings>Wireless and networks and looking under Mobile Network, it says "Turning on." However, it stays in that mode and never "turns on."Things I have tried
1. Restart the phone/taking the battery out
2. Reset the phone to factory settings by going to Privacy in Settings
3. Contact Verizon and have them remove and re-add the data plan
I have noticed that, when I call *228, and try to activate the phone, it says an error occurred and it could not activate the phone. I can make phone calls from the phone, but cannot do anything that requires a data plan, meaning that it is an issue with that. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this issue?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI use the alarm clock on the Incredible as my main method of waking me up in the morning. I also have a tendency to hit the snooze button quite a few times before I can get my lazy butt out of bed. I've noticed on 3 occasions now that when the alarm is going off and I try to hit snooze button or "dismiss" button and it's not available. So the alarm is going off and I'm frantically trying to find a button to shut it off. Pressing every button doesn't work so I have to finally shut the phone off. Has anyone else had this issue as well? I've tried to replicate it sitting in front of me a few minutes ago and I can't do it.On one occasion, I noticed that I got a text message when I was trying to find the "dismiss" button. NOt sure if the text message alert had something to do with it.
