I uninstalled battery widget and it left a small box on my wallpaper where the widget was with the words in in problem loading widget .how can i remove this from my wallpaper

View 3 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone else use this widget? its supposed to tell you down to the minute, what time your phone is going to die. ive been using it since last night, and the conditioning is still stuck on rough. does anyone who uses this widget know how long it should take to condition the battery? it says to fully charge and let it run all the way down, and im trying to do that but im also working on some side projects which requires my phone to be plugged into my laptop and consequently has been charging sporadically since about 2, and im worried that this is ruining the conditioning process.
View 5 Replies View RelatedBattery Left was the first thing I installed on my phone when I got it. My battery life has been terrible so I've been trying to track down the problem. I woke up today, unplugged my phone and didn't touch it for an hour. Battery Left says I have 70 percent left but the battery meter in the status bar showed full. I uninstalled battery left and installed Battstatt and it shows 90 percent (2 hours later). Anyone else have problems with battery left? I hope this fixes my battery problem.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have transformed CoolReader into system app with Titanium backup. It was crashing so I tried to move it back to user app again with Titanium backup. However during this procedure TB hanged and after some 20 minutes I killed it. I later tried to uninstall it (again with TB), but it seems that there are still left parts of it somewhere so now I am unable to reinstall the app from google play (error 491) or if I clear cache and data of google play and force the application to install it keeps crashing.
So I would like to ask what should I delete to completely eliminate the traces of CoolReader (or any application in general) and be able to install it again?
Does setcpu speed up the Moment at all or is its only real use for downclocking to save battery?

New Recovery File
Live Wallpaper ZIP
-Follow EXACTLY. Don't deviate-
1) Go to Control Panel. Remove EVERYTHING Samsung from your Add/Remove section. This will remove all of the drivers etc.
2) Go to your Program Files (x86 if needed) section under 'My Computer'. Delete the 'Samsung Electronics' folder.
3) If you have CCLeaner and are comfortable using the Registry tool, clean your registry of anything Samsung. This will ensure that your new install doesn't use the old stuff.
4) RESTART
5) Install the OLD CL14 SAMSUNG INSTALLER onto your PC. This is important as the NEW installer won't use non-signed packages.
6) RESTART
7) Download the new Recovery and KEEP IT IN ITS DOWNLOADED FORMAT. Take off the MD5 at the end of the file so it ends in TAR.
8) Go back to the Samsung Electronics folder (that you would've deleted earlier) and head to SWUpgradeModelsBinary. Remove the file inside, probably called "SPH-M900_MR2_DE03_REL_1.tar". Delete it, move it - whatever.
9) Copy the Recovery file you just downloaded into that folder. DO NOT EXTRACT IT.
10) TURN OFF YOUR PHONE and remove the battery for about 10 seconds. Replace battery. DO NOT TURN IT BACK ON.
11) HOLD 'VolDown+Camera+End'. A DOWNLOADING screen should appear.
12) Start the SWUpdate that should be on your desktop. Otherwise, it's back in the Samsung Electronics folder from earlier.
13) FOLLOW THE ONSCREEN INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY. I can't stress that enough...
14) After it applies the Recovery file (which is why you placed it in the Binary folder), RESTART YOUR PHONE.
15) Copy the Live Wallpaper ZIP file to your SDCard. DO NOT put it into a folder. Just copy it to the root of the card (meaning it's by itself and not in a folder). DO NOT EXTRACT.
16) POWER OFF YOUR PHONE
17) HOLD 'VolDown+Call(Green)+End(Red)'. This will put you into Recovery Mode. Using the VolUp/VolDown keys, scroll to 'Apply Update.zip' and press the center key. Select the Zip File you just copied to your SDCard. After it processes, RESTART YOUR PHONE.
18) BOOYA! After your phone boots up, you should be able to hit Menu then Wallpapers and you should see Live Wallpapers as a heading.This doesn't ROOT your phone, only adds Live Wallpapers to your Moment. If you want to run CUSTOM Live's, you'll need to ROOT your phone.After the zip is applied, you can delete it from your SDCard.

I've been searching on this forum for hours now and can't seem to find any information on a work-around for cropping images for the wallpaper on my Samsung Moment. I've tried "Wallpaper Set & Save" and it just crops it automatically. I just installed the ADW Home Launcher and I can get up to 7 screens on it... but for some reason, my phone still wants to perform as if it's running on 3 screens. So it just automatically crops it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe left lower side of my battery cover doesn't fully snap into place, causing an annoying gap. It was never like this, but I took the cover off to remove the battery, and when I tried to put it back in, it wouldn't snap. I tried a different cover and it still didn't fit... I have no idea why it wont snap in all of a sudden. Anyone else have this? I'm on my fourth epic, If I have to go to #5 I might just say forget it and save my upgrade
View 3 Replies View RelatedI installed the app "Music Mod" to work in Launcher Pro because I couldn't get the Music Widget, and because I liked Music Mod, figured I would uninstall the standard Music App and the Music Widget in Titanium Backup. What I don't like is that when you uninstall a program, there is no option to ever install it again, it basically just deletes it as far as I can tell.
What I wasn't aware was since I uninstalled Music, when I am playing music and my screen turns off, when I turn it on, no longer are there the music controls anymore. I now have to unlock the screen and go to the widget. I use my phone as my MP3 player, so this sucks. While I'm on the run, I don't want to take my phone out of my pocket, unlock it, and click a small button on the widget to change a song. Anyone know if there is anyway to reinstall the stock Music App & Widget so I can get that feature back to change or pause songs without unlocking the phone?
Anyone know where the moments wallpaper gallery images are stored? I can't find em on the SDCard. I'm also trying to add my own custom images that I've put on the card and every time I set them as my wallpaper they seem soooo zoomed in? I've tried resizing them from 1600 to like 480xwhatever and I still get the same results.

View 21 Replies View RelatedThis isn't the first time someone has posted a stock app removal guide and probably wont be the last but lately I've seen a lot of threads on the topic so decided to put together a guide of apps that i have removed that has greatly helped out my battery life. For all intensive purposes this is the 'easiest' free way to get rid of the bloat, it does however require root access. You can always just buy root explorer from the market and delete them with it. I tried to make this guide as nob friendly as possible.
