Sep 24, 2010The xperia x10 has a battery which is not user replaceable, now the problem is I have a SE k790i for past 3 and half years and 2 months back the battery was malfunctioning i.e. not giving perfomance and also it had become fat due to which the back cover was not fitting to its place. I m interested in x10 mini but if same thing happens with x10 mini in which the battery is fixed into the body of the phone if it goes fat then either the phone has to break or the battery(which will lead to leak) in both cases the phone will be damaged . . . considering I live in India where temperetues are upto 45 degrees in summer is it a wise option to go for the mini ?

Sep 20, 2010Had the x10 for a few months now, and at the start i loved it!! Yes the battery life was an issue but got better over time although can basically never leave any apps running.
But now, my touchscreen is totally messed up, i touch one area of the phone and it either doesn't respond or it just starts going crazy. Countless times i have had to either lock my phone and try again or switch it off completely which is a task in itself because of the screen not responding so the only solution is to remove the battery. When texting, i for example will press the letter a next thing i know its hit every other key other than a. I'm even struggling to answer my phone when receiving a call as again the screen won't respond correctly to unlock it.
My partner got her phone at the exact same time and hers is doing the exact same thing. Is this a common thing for the handset?

Nov 4, 2010the small usb port cover separate from the phone. Mine did yesterday. It's held in place by a small plastic tab which has a barbed end which should keep it attached. I guess with all the charging that this phone requires this little cover gets moved and twisted alot. It will still go back in place but I'm afraid that at some point it will separate and I'll lose it. My old HTS had a much more rubbery cover that always stayed attached to the phone.

The cover art are found in music folder, so why are they appearing in the album. Does the xml file in the top folder of SD card need to be modified to ignore photos in music folder?

I have installed universal android, superuser.apk, Titanium Backup, and Android Mate. when I try to uninstall the bloatware, my phone says the uninstall was unsuccessful.
