Sprint HTC Hero :: Outlook - Automatically Delete Stuff As Delete Stuff On The Exchange Server
Jan 15, 2010I connect to my works Exchange server using EAS (I think, it was the default) and it syncs with my mail automagically as stuff comes in. I'd really like to find a way to automatically delete stuff on the Hero as I delete stuff on the exchange server. Is there a way to do this without involving another program?

Jan 17, 2010My Gmail account works great, and I have my aol and yahoo acounts set up no problem (well the yahoo was a little problem but got it to work so thats all that matters). I have 2 other email accounts that no matter what I do I can not get them to work. One is my works email which is handled by a company called network solutions. I can get the incoming server setup fine but I can not get the outgoing to work. The other is my school email which is some sort of msn email account variation (username@email.itt-tech.edu which i log into through msn.com). I cant get anything to work for this accuont.

Nov 8, 2010I was able to successfully setup a POP account through the Setup Screen...in fact when I go back through Setup, I still see the account. The problem is I can't DO anything with it in setup (including deleting it to start over) and it doesn't show up in my Apps window with an icon! I see it on the setup screen labeled "Setup Accounts" but no matter if I tap it or hold it or swipe it or try to hit the menu key, it just sits there. There is a green button with the checkmark in it. I guess what I would think i ought to be able to do is to assign it an icon (or even get a generic one) and find the account listed on my app screen...I'm willing to reset it, but I can't even delete it to start!

Sep 28, 2010I rooted my Evo Froyo 2.2 using unrevoked 3.2.1 I Installed Titanium and ROM Manger Premium and Wireless tether.2.0.5-pre9. Id like to flash the new OTA rooted myn-OTA_Supersonic_3.29.651.5-DEODEXED.zip ROM to get the better frame rate. I have never flashed before (not true, in the 70s in collegeerr, skip that) But I still have several unanswered questions.
1) I understand that even though this 3.29.651.5 is an upgraded ROM, I still have to flash it. If I were not rooted I could take the OTA upgrade from Sprint. So do I need to do a data wipe and wipe cache and dalvik cache using ROM Manger before I flash this new ROM version?
2) Someone told me I would use to Titanium Backup to backup all apps and settings, do a wipe, flash the rom, then restore using Titanium Backup If I do a wipe and then flash, and all apps are gone, how could I restore from Titanium? Isnt that gone too? Will restoring from Titanium also restore ROM Manager and the Wireless tether.2.0.5-pre9?
3) I also got this response, Also, don't forget to flash the new radios that came with the OTA Are these not included in the 3.29.651.5 rom? Do I have to hunt these up separately and flash them separately or with the 3.29.651.5 rom?
4) I have removed some bloatware programs such as NFL and NASCAR from the apps using Titanium. Ive read where some say they had to replace these to flash this update. Is that true? What happens if I flash and do not have those apps present?
As much as Ive read, I still see conflicting advice on how to proceed. When I read instructions on something, I usually see another post 5 or more down from someone else that then says, Oh dont forget to do So if anyone can help with these, Id appreciate it. I may develop new questions after this, but Ill be a step closer to having the answers and my first root.
HTC Wildfire :: Put Stuff On SD Card Over WiFi?
Oct 11, 2010I've only had my HTC Wildfire a few days but it seems like the phone I've been wishing for. One question though - I'd like to put stuff on the SD card over WiFi - rather than plugging in the lead. Is this possible? I know it can be done as Tune Sync does it - but this maybe an exception. It's on the same network as the Wildfire can get out I just want to be able to see it from my Windows 7 PC.

Aug 18, 2010I have BB 0.4 installed on my droid, back when pete released it there was a patch avail so the market would work better, my guess is it cheated the market to thinking the 2.2 ROM was 2.1 but I honestly don't know. now that 2.2 is out granted a different build is there a way to set-up BB 0.4 to see the 2.2 content (like flash) in the market until Pete releases 0.5? Otherwise I might try CM RC3 but concerned on battery life with it

Nov 24, 2010I am running Leedroid 2.2d A2SD+. I just bought a new 16Gb sd card, and want to use this instead of my 4Gb card. How do I go about copying all must stuff from the old card to the new? Considering my apps are now stored to the SD card, can I just copy all the contents of the old sd card to my pc, insert the new sd card, format it with ROM manager and copy all my stuff from my pc back to the new SD card? Must the phone be plugged into the computer? If so must it be windows?
Must usb debugging be on as well as allow unknown sources?
I download busy box and can get to the screen where I select backup apps and data but have no idea where the backup of this is stored...where? I hit the backup apps and data button and run but instantly I go back to the home screen. Is my stuff backed up? Please Help! THanks so much!

Oct 2, 2010I've tried ShadowRom and CM6 and love both but it's far too buggy for me right now. On SR I would have 5-6 reboots a day which I can't bear. With CM6 it's down to 1-2 reboots a day but sometimes my phone will completely cut off and not reboot at all and I won't know that it's off until I go to wake it up. I also have had voicemails and missed calls that I haven't been notified of and the missed calls won't even show up in the call log later. I only know they are missed when friends tell me they called me three times in a row with no answer. Lastly the battery life is killing me on CM6. I've never drained my 2150 battery before and everybody for the past week I've had CM6 the battery had died with display as the main cause. So I've finally decided I just need to go back to Stock 2.2 and install LauncherPro. So my question is, I know how to remove some of the crapware but what other things can I remove that are Sense related from the stock rom that won't compromise the phone in any way but that will make it run faster and smoother? Is there a tutorial for this somewhere?
