I'm getting full bars with my pjone working fine, except that I have no data connection. I'm using a sprint black type this so it should be working. I have mobile network enabled in settings... Only recent activity is backing up my ROM with ROM manager.

Could be a coincidence, but it appears it started happening right after I did the PRL update (*228). I have voice and text, but no email/pandora/weather bug/market. All I get is 'network error...I have done another *228, rebooted several times and did a battery pull.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI just did a flash of Cyanogenmod9 (Domination) and im getting full bars, but I cant do google searches, or access the gps. Clearly im there is something wrong with my connection. When I look at my settings I see full bars, but beside it it says "No internet connection".... very puzzling. The wifi does work perfectly though.

I can see the little mic next to the space bar but...when i press the mic key nothing happens! if i hold too long it goes to settings. Have seen on youtube I should get a 'speak' box come up after i press the mic, but nothing. tried uninstall the HTC_IME_hi_25.apk and voice search, but still not working. Per Google and from what I can see, no VoIP is being used and it seems to me when I have a data connection and use GV to dial out it just dials a Google number first. I'd think the call would be made to GV, GV would patch the call through to the person being called and pass on the GV caller ID number. So why does the app need to have a data connection to work?

I was driving the other day and decided to use it. I spoke very slowly and enunciated the words clearly and that thing wrote something entirely different. No offense but I sounded like a slow person the way I was talking and it still typed the wrong thing!
