I just did a flash of Cyanogenmod9 (Domination) and im getting full bars, but I cant do google searches, or access the gps. Clearly im there is something wrong with my connection. When I look at my settings I see full bars, but beside it it says "No internet connection".... very puzzling. The wifi does work perfectly though.

So I just flashed CyanogenMod 11 on LG G2 and forgotbto flash GApps on my phone and when I try folowwing CyanogenMod steps to booting into recovery mode it won't and it just boots back into the operating system. I think Clockworkmod got deleted when I flashed the operating system. So I can't install it without gapps and I need my apps!

View 1 Replies View RelatedLast week, I flashed my LG Nexus 4 (16GB) phone with stock Android 4.4 (Official Image), before that I was on CyanogenMod 10.1.3 Stable.
Now, for some reason I didn't like the stock 4.4 and tried to Flash back my CyanogenMod 10.1.3 from CWM "Install ZIP" but the problem I'm facing is that it CyanogenMod doesn't boot, hangs on "Spiral Splash Screen". Then I tried Flashing CM 10.0 stable, still loops into boot forever and at times boots (after 15-20 minutes of booting on spiral splash screen) and doesn't recognise SIM card, Camera, Storage, WIFI or anything.
Then after getting fed up with this I tried flashing MIUI V5. This also takes a 15-20 to boot and fails to recognise - SIM, WiFi, Camera etc.
So lastly like a loser I flashed back my Android 4.4 it works fine.
I've my boot-loader in unlocked state.
and Yes before flashing CM or MIUI, I did - wipe data/factory, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache from CWM Recovery.
So I want to get back into CyanogenMod 10.1 stable.
I just noticed that when I make a call my phone automatically drops from Full bars to 1 or 2. Anywhere I am this happens and it really bugs me that I think I have Ful strength and when I git the call button and the call is placed I really don't have full strength.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe ROM that I use on my phone pretty much discourages dirty flashing updates [CM10.1 based]. So for the last 10 or so updates, I have clean wiped my HTC Rezound, then restored from a TitaniumBackup.
First I disabled compression of backups.
Then to restore I go to /sdcard/TitaniumBackup/ and run a bash command:
# for i in *.apk; do pm install "$i"; done
Then I go to TitaniumBackup, and every app is installed but doesn't have my data. So then I batch restore my data for my apps [Pretty much only user apps, except a few system things like SMS, WiFi networks]. But the problem is, recently, TitaniumBackup will quit halfway through a batch restore of "Data only." So I've been manually restoring data 1 by 1 for the apps that I need data to be saved across rom updates.
But then I thought, "Hey, why can't I just backup my /data/data/ folder?" but then I also thought that would probably be like a dirty flash.
I am attempting my second root, I just did my Eris which made it amazing. I am now working on rooting my girlfriends Evo. This has been a little more challenging. Her radio version is 2.15.00.09.01, every post online has been prior to this version and fails to root. Does anyone have any help for my situation. My main goal is to flash her phone with Cyanogenmod.

Just found this link to an apk that claims to port over the working full flash program from 2.2 to work with 2.1. From reading the comments, it appears it only works with HTC phones because of the flash lite already on them. I installed it, and tested a few sites and it seems to work great. I didn't to a test before I installed it to see what sites didnt work. ANyway, here's the link if anyone wants to experiment. Just flashed a new ROM and I use the built in data usage tracker thingy. How do I edit my current usage as it's reset to 0 but I'm half way thru my data. How do I edit it?
Note: previous ROM had the usage incorrect so backing previous data and restoring will not work.

Now I'm trying to flash my stock rom back.
My CID is VODAP102 and my Version is 3.14.161.27 so i downloaded the rom and tried "fastboot flash boot boot.img" the result is:

I updated my Evo to 2.2 when it came out, but I just noticed something about flash in the browser: I cannot interact with any of the buttons. For example, when browsing the youtube full site in the browser (not the youtube app) you can hit the button to turn on captions, and hit the other button to switch to HD resolution. For some reason, I cant figure out how to hit those buttons. I tried zooming in all the way, and I hit the resolution button, and the resolutions popped up for about .5 of a second, then went away, its too quick to hit it. I tried double tapping the flash to make it full screen and that doesnt work either. The only thing I can get to work is the slider bar, which seems to work fine.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I'm using anything that streams data (like slacker, pandora, even a lyric stream from tune wiki) about 20 minutes in it will stop streaming and kill my data connection. This used to happen sometimes before I updated to official 2.1 and I could just cycle it with airplane mode. But now it seems to lock anything having to do with the phone radio up. Wifi stops working, can't get calls or browse web sites. The signal bar will go full and it shows no data connection next to the signal bar. I've run the 2.1 update 3 times and it happens every time. I can listen to Slacker for like 20 mins then it will lock up. I'll reset the phone and start listening again and it will lock up within 5 min after that (so it does it sooner if the phone was just rebooted.)

I took mine to a Verizon store and ask them so they wanted to exchange it with a refurbished one but I told them to just change the Sim card and see if that would do the trick but nothing.
