Why am I paying $10 a month for this useless service? Put on ABC "live" TV and there is no Lakers/Celtics game. Its 2 hours of Desperate Housewives and some other BS. I have yet to see any LIVE TV on the "live" channels. What a ripoff this service is.

View 4 Replies View RelatedEver since I rooted my phone to Fresh 2.0D and learned how to do the Live Wallpapers hack as well, I have enjoyed my phone so much that I am changing my mind about getting the EVO. I am one of those geeks that has to have all the newest toys but since I've rooted and installed a custom Rom I find myself comparing my phone to the EVO and slowly realizing that my phone can be just as good. It really was the tethering thing that changed my mind. I think I will get the EVO once someone has learned to root it and do amazing things with it but until then, I am keeping the Hero. I truly love this phone.

people say thr evo will be so much better in OS department, but compared to the HERO isnt that all the same 2.1 OS ?

View 3 Replies View Relatedi have the htc hero sprint phone,but right now there is no service on it, i dont know if that is whats causing this problem, but i downloaded htcsync 2.0 off the htc website and it installed completely only problem i get is i download the file i want,which is a game from a website called brothersoft.com, and when i click the application installer on the htcsync program, it says the app was successfully transfered to the phone, but on my phone it says "there is a problem parsing the package", can someone help me on this? do i have to have service or do i have to download another program, also do i have to have an sd card, or can it all happen from just a usb cable

It was somewhere on these forums be it moment, eris, or hero. I would assume if it was on another phones page the concept would be the same. Any info on this my fellow Hero comrades?

I do realize there are roms out there that do this but I have a lot of time invested in tweaking the stock rom and it works excellent for my needs. I just want to rock the Super Mario live wallpaper!
View 8 Replies View RelatedI wonder if anyone is having the same issues I am with Windows Live Messenger?My company and all employees with computers or smartphones uses this as a constant communication tool.On BlackBerry it works really well. If you lose signal and re-gain it, it will auto sign back in.With the Hero, it works fine initially but then after an unknown amount of inactivity, it signs out or whatever. When this happens, it does not sign itself back in until you do it manually or soft reset.Very annoying problem since everyone at the office reminds me that my "little green man" isn't working.

View 4 Replies View RelatedIs it possible to use LWP in HTC Sense in Fresh? I know the flip guy sent out a fix for this, but that took away weather animations (and I like that). Also the LWP ran a bit laggy, as opposed to when I ran the LWP with the undo fix. The issue is though, when I run it with the fix undone, whenever I wake the phone up, it disappears. Is this some sort of remedy for this.

Whenever I try to use it, it doesn't show my route like where I'm going. It looks like just a black screen in the middle and the voice doesn't work.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a square grid, for a turn based game ( grid is similar to the chess board ), but the moves in the games are different based on whether you have lapped your opponent pawn at least once or not.i.e if you have not lapped (beaten any of the opponents pawns) in the outer most grid as below.if you have lapped your opponent pawn once at least, then you get to reach home,this way.Any player having all his pawns reaching "home" first wins.The ones in yellow are safe-houses, i.e both the opponent pawn and the player's pawn get to stay in the same grid, this is not considered to be lapping ( the opponent ).The lapped pawn will return to its start point.Now the question is, what is the effective way to store the paths for the all the pawns.we will have 4 pawns for the player and 4 opponent pawns.Is there any pattern to store such static information, in a elegant way?
