Sprint HTC Hero : Get Live Wallpaper?
Jun 5, 2010Ok so i just rooted last night on the 2.1. today I'm trying to get live wall papers but cant seem to figure out how. any suggestions? im have the sprint hero, rooted, no custom rom.

Apr 7, 2010Does anyone have a fix to make the live wallpaper work on this ROM? I go and set the wallpaper and it does not change to the live wallpaper. The other wallpaper work from "wallpapers."

Aug 21, 2010Is it possible to use LWP in HTC Sense in Fresh? I know the flip guy sent out a fix for this, but that took away weather animations (and I like that). Also the LWP ran a bit laggy, as opposed to when I ran the LWP with the undo fix. The issue is though, when I run it with the fix undone, whenever I wake the phone up, it disappears. Is this some sort of remedy for this.

May 1, 2010all the normal wallpapers work as do my own photos but i cannot get live ones to work, ive upgraded to 5.4 they didnt work on there either(nor did friend stream) and now ive gone back to 5.3 as i prefered it.(and friend stream does!

May 2, 2010I am asking cause i have 5.3, the OTA updater will not download the updates at all, its telling me that it cant be downloaded at this time~ it will only allow me to download 5.4 which i don't want. now cause the instructions tell you to flash the fix right after flashing the rom will it still work for me? really wanna try out one of these wallpapers ive downloaded.

May 17, 2010Ever since I rooted my phone to Fresh 2.0D and learned how to do the Live Wallpapers hack as well, I have enjoyed my phone so much that I am changing my mind about getting the EVO. I am one of those geeks that has to have all the newest toys but since I've rooted and installed a custom Rom I find myself comparing my phone to the EVO and slowly realizing that my phone can be just as good. It really was the tethering thing that changed my mind. I think I will get the EVO once someone has learned to root it and do amazing things with it but until then, I am keeping the Hero. I truly love this phone.

Jul 23, 2010I am running Fresh 2.3.3 and I have the Vanilla lockscreen enabled. I have tried a lot of patches and metamorphs all locking my phone and sending into force closes and boot loops. My question is is it possible to change the vanilla wallpaper on Fresh? Is there a way to find the wallpaper used and change it? If not I'll live with it. It looks much better then sense with fresh.

Oct 27, 2009I wonder if anyone is having the same issues I am with Windows Live Messenger?My company and all employees with computers or smartphones uses this as a constant communication tool.On BlackBerry it works really well. If you lose signal and re-gain it, it will auto sign back in.With the Hero, it works fine initially but then after an unknown amount of inactivity, it signs out or whatever. When this happens, it does not sign itself back in until you do it manually or soft reset.Very annoying problem since everyone at the office reminds me that my "little green man" isn't working.
