This is by far the most awesome, modified default music Android player, created by Eliot Stocker. This is version 1.6, which is an older version, but his newest that supports Eclair 2.1 (all the newer ones require Froyo).
View 10 Replies View RelatedWell to start things off, I had my iPod touch 1st gen. stolen out of my car, and finding out that the cable I use to play music over my Alpine headunit will not work with my newly acquired iPod touch 2nd gen. has prompted me to look into other ways to have all my music with me in my car as well as be able to play it over my stereo.I found this lovely little A2DP receiver online very cheap:All in all, this has cost me less than an iPod cable that would work with the newer iPod I have, and makes everything much simpler, reducing the number of devices I carry. Hopefully this helps someone, I am curious to see what the audio quality for A2DP is while streaming music from the DROID,
View 48 Replies View Relatedso I just tried out our music player this evening. Among many other things, I have to say this thing is AWESOME. Yes, I agree, the user interface could use some work. However, the sound is MUCH better than my ipod touch. I use my ipod for music and this monster for everything else. Well, my battery in the ipod died so I put the same earbuds in the Droid and was amazed at the sound.Must say that I am constantly amazed with this thing.
View 2 Replies View RelatedNot trying to bitch about Froyo, for the most part I think its great. Finally my contact pics are properly synced and properly updating with facebook. But when using turn by turn navigation, before it would drop the music, give the direction and the music would turn back on.Now it pauses the player, and the music doesn't turn back on without manually pressing play again. Driving through downtown seattle with lots of turns this is pretty annoying.
View 23 Replies View RelatedSo a colleague of mine picked up the Droid Eris and while I find the Sense UI a bit heavy - I did love the look of the desktop widget that manages favorites from dialer on screen as a speed dial. Have been searching in Market for a couple of days and don't find! Searched here and only find instructions for adding shortcuts to contacts onto the desktop (which I guess could work, but doesn't look anywhere near as cool!). Anyone heard of anything good?
View 7 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know how to save a playlist from one rom and import it to another using the music app musicmod? I made some playlists while using BBv0.4 in Musicmod. I am now running CM6 but cannot figure out how to import my playlists from BB. I did save them but they do not seem to save to the SD card, or if they do I don't know where they save to. And I can't find an import option in musicmod anyway. Does anyone have an idea of how I could import my playlists to a new rom? It took a really long time to make them, I can't do that every time I flash a new rom.

View 49 Replies View Relatedi have a lg gw620 or "intouch max" depending which way you look at things.anyways, the stock music player is fine, and has a solid selection of options within the app, however it lacks decent options on the home page (it only shows skip track and pause options unless you open up the app) what im looking for is something thats more widget like i suppose, that gives me more options without having to actually open the app.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI installed the app "Music Mod" to work in Launcher Pro because I couldn't get the Music Widget, and because I liked Music Mod, figured I would uninstall the standard Music App and the Music Widget in Titanium Backup. What I don't like is that when you uninstall a program, there is no option to ever install it again, it basically just deletes it as far as I can tell.
What I wasn't aware was since I uninstalled Music, when I am playing music and my screen turns off, when I turn it on, no longer are there the music controls anymore. I now have to unlock the screen and go to the widget. I use my phone as my MP3 player, so this sucks. While I'm on the run, I don't want to take my phone out of my pocket, unlock it, and click a small button on the widget to change a song. Anyone know if there is anyway to reinstall the stock Music App & Widget so I can get that feature back to change or pause songs without unlocking the phone?
Can anyone recommend a good music app with a widget? Am thinking of using the stock player with the Desire but am on the lookout for a good player within the market.

View 5 Replies View RelatedSomehow I am missing the really nice music widget that shows the album graphics. Not sure where I lost it, but I want it back! I installe several things (pancake, and 2.1 icons (which I got rid of)) but the music widget is gone... all that's left is a minimal music widget.
Any ideas or suggestions for getting it back?
I have seen several quadrant scores of the Evo with froyo and they are all in the mid 1200's. Thats very close to what most stock 2.1 X's are running. And keep in mind that a stock 2.1 evo is like 750 quadrant.
View 49 Replies View RelatedHere is a small video showing you how to use Youmail voice mail service, it is free, and you can customize your greeting to each caller if you want, you can also list to your messages in several ways, from the phone app, from your email from your PC or phone, which is what I prefer. and it can also send you an email when you have a message or a text message, I personally do not use the phone app, I simply listen to my voice mails from my email. You will need to register and set it up, and then forward your voice mail to the Youmail message center, simple To forward you simply dial from your Sprint Phone *289095106169 and you will hear 2 quick beeps and your messages will go directly to Youmail service, to deactivate if you ever want, simply dial *38 and you will here 2 beeps again telling your phone has been deactivated from the Youmail service http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Epuc9eyyf_Q

View 2 Replies View RelatedSeems to me everyone is so grateful for the Rom update that we haven't had time to be hacked off about it. I work in software and the size and number of these updates says to me that HTC knew about many of these issues before the handset shipped and were already working on fixes them. There is no way things like the camera upgrade are bug fixes found after go live. Someone (probably an accountant) decided that it was OK to ship even with the defects and that when they were fixed it was OK to have an update system that forced us all to completely rebuild our phones or partly rebuild them if we were prepared to buy a third party app to back them up.
If HTC seriously want to take on the Iphone they are going to have to be a lot slicker in future. Just having a great product is not good enough you need the whole package if you want mass market appeal. In the end they may have shot themselves in the foot. This update may have largely fixed the lag but all those early reviews are still out there and people considering this phone will still find them and be put off for months or years to come. Don't get me wrong I love it and would not change it for an Iphone or anything else I am just sad that such a great product has been so badly tainted by poor customer service and niggling faults.
The phone has been uplugged for 19 hours now. Awake time is 2 hours. Battery is at 50%. This is with texting, a few phone calls, using the application store a few times, reading and updating my status. I have had the phone almost a week and I have been on a mission to get great battery life.
