Jul 24, 2010Anyone have any recommendations for an RSS reader with a good looking widget? There are tons on the market but many of the widgets aren't customizable, don't support pictures, don't allow opening the browser, etc. I really don't want to resort to using Google Reader, just because I want to have something other than one screen.

Dec 16, 2009I'm looking for a nice looking, functional SMS widget. I'm currently using the one from Beautiful Widgets, but as much as I like the other widgets in that package, I think the SMS one is painfully ugly and doesn't fit with anything else on my home screen. I know I could have Handcent do popup notifications, but I would prefer to have a widget like the one I currently use that sits on the home screen.
Something skinnable would be preferable, but if nothing like that exists, then perhaps a simple, minimalistic or universal design.
Anybody know of anything that I might like? I'm willing to pay for a good one, it doesn't have to be a freebie.

Jul 20, 2010I've noticed that the stock music app's random feature has no regard for repeating songs. Sometimes I'll hear the same song 2-3 times in one hour! Are there any music apps that will randomize a playlist without playing any songs more than once? Aug 30, 2010Anyone know of a good RSS app with a widget (that allows you to specify your own feeds) that has the option to take up the entire screen, not just a single line? To be clear, I want an app with widget that can display on a screen, not an app that you have to browse to, then open, and then view a list of feeds.What I'm looking for is something like the native News app but something that actually works! I've tried to use that app before but it refuses to update properly even when I try to do a manual update.

Jun 25, 2010I got desire. Awesome phone. My question is regarding headset you get with the phone. Like every other headset I got with phone it appears to have music control buttons but they won't work with music application that's built in to the phone. What I mean exactly is non of the button on headset does anything like pause/play, forward or backward however it does work for hanning up calls u make. Is it suppose to not work with music or something wrong with mine?

I have tried quick calendar (which always screws up on me) I have tried Laik (which doesn't even display my entries, or it does for a bit then they disapear) I currently have calwidget installed and it will not show my own entries..it did once for about a min until I went to add more and that was it)Im coming from a blackberry background user and the blackberry today feature was dominant over anything I have yet tried on my magic to display on my home screen, however my magic overall destroys blackberries, I really need a good calendar widget to display my events on my home screen,, kinda important to me since its all mostly work related.

Nov 30, 2009I just got a new 8gb memory card and want to dump a bunch of music to my Hero, but the music player seems lacking in many respects (functionally) despite looking nice (aesthetically). Has anyone tried other players that both work well and look stylish? sidenote - I was unable to format my memory card with it plugged into my network printer due to not having an adapter, but when the card is mounted and the hero is connected through usb it is reported as FAT32 in the open window. Do I need to worry about formatting? I wasn't sure if there would be any performance gain by doing so. Its a Transcend 8gb class 6.
