Feb 13, 2010So the milestone and droid run a 550mhz processor, correct me if i am wrong, and that can be overclocked to run faster.
But with the new phones like the Supersonic, and the Scorpian from HTC running at the 1.5ghz does that mean those phones will stomp out the speed compared to the droid. Does that make them better phones?
Since the Nexus One runs a 1ghz as well, does that make it faster than the droid?
Motorola Droid :: Browser Almost Unusable Along With Slow Phone Speed
Nov 8, 2010I don't know what has happened with my phone recently. I had flashed ss4.8, ss4.9, lfy 1.9, and now cyanogenmod 6.1 RC3. My phones internet browser has force closed constantly on every ROM I mentioned above. Its never done this before. I can't even hardly load or scroll through a web page and it force closes almost everytime I use the internet for more than 5 mins. The phone itself has been horribly slow too no matter what kernel I use. I noticed something about JIT in the cyanogenmod settings, could this possibly have something to do with it? I have no clue I'm just shooting in the dark but my phone has been almost unusable.

Jul 4, 2013if you have plan to flash rom or restore factory data on phone and want to keep your nfs mw current track, you just need copy saved game data and restore after install game, this' method:
your phone need rooted for access system files by es file explorer or root explorer app, then go to '/data/data' folder, copy "com.ea.games.nfs13_na" folder and 4 files: mNFS.db, mNFS.db-journal, mNFSStatus.db, mNFSStatus.db-journal (or simple make a search 'nfs' and copy all, i don't know exactly which files game need but that' all fine for me). done. after install new game, open and play the first race, exit then you just need copy back all files and folder.
p.s. how to play without internet connection?! (game need internet connection for check update when it' start)

Mar 25, 2010Can anyone use Google Voice on their Moment? When I get an incoming call, it takes so long for the call to come through that by the time I try to press 1 to accept the call, its going to voicemail.
I've tried it several times and its physically impossible to answer the phone, listen to who's calling, get the number pad to come up (after waiting for the screen to wake up) and press 1 before it sends the caller to voicemail.
I really like this phone, but its lag is wearing on me (and I'm running one of Joeykrim's speedy kernals). I hope it speeds up with the upgrade to 2.1. If not I might have to switch to a Blackberry (blasphemy!! ) until Sprint comes out with a faster Android phone.
General :: Speed Test Gets Different Results On Phone Compared To Laptop On Same WiFi Connection
Mar 7, 2013I have a Google Nexus 4 with Android 4.2.2.I've just tried a speed test on it using the Android app (speedtest.net) and it says over wifi I'm getting about 1mps down/upload. I've also tried it on my laptop using the same wifi connection but through the browser using thier website Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test and it says im getting about 15 mps down and almost 1 upload.
when I go into Chrome and search for speedtest it goes to the play store with thier app, any way I can access thier site on my phone browser? the desktop site doesn't seem to work?
