So at 5pm pst, I'm sitting at my desk, and suddenly my alarm clock goes off. Looks like my phone thinks it is 8am tomorrow morning. Anyone else experience this?
I'm sure its as simple as rebooting the phone. Just haven't bothered yet.

I have been using the alarm on the Hero as a wake up but it will only vibrate and not play sounds which it would always do without problems before. The weird part is that selecting a tone to play for the alarm has also stopped being audible, so in some ways this leads to an obvious conclusion?

So I recently moved to a place where I can get 4g pretty much everywhere I go, which is awesome. Unfortunately though, the Evo gets unbearably laggy when I use 4g, even after I turn it off. It can take up to 5 seconds for the screen to turn on. I tried doing a hard reset, and for a day or two the evo was back to it's glorious self...but that was short-lived.Any suggestions?
My AVDs suddenly can't reach the internet. I'm testing using the browser of the AVD. I haven't changed anything that I think is related on my development machine and I can still reach the internet from the development machine. I'm sort of at a loss figuring out how to start debugging this. Is it possible that my ISP is blocking the AVD? Is there anything different about the HTTP traffic that originates on the AVD that my ISP might key on?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI was debugging away and moved my phone a bit and the debugger lost contact. I figured it was just a loose USB so I reseated the cable and attempted to restart the debugger. Now the debugger can't find my phone. I can manage the phone from DDMS without any problem so it's not a phone, cable, or driver issue. Something went wacko in the debugger setup. When I go to Run Configurations in Eclipse, the phone is simply not in the list of choices. Any ideas where I can look for what's wrong?

View 3 Replies View Related I'm suddenly having trouble opening up audio attachments/files. Running a Nexus 4 - OS 4.4.2. I get my work voicemail as e-mail attachments in .wav format. Up until today I was able to just tap on the attachment, and it would download and start playing. Now it says "No app can open this attachment for viewing". If I go into the Downloads and try to open it up, it says, "Can't open file". Same if I try and open up a mp3 that's in Downloads. However, opening a PDF or Excel file from Downloads or straight from email works just fine. If I go into the music player I can open up the .wav and .mp3 files from Downloads just fine.
I tried restarting a few times, and also tried clearing the app cache with no luck. What should I try next?
I recently began having a yellow star show up un my notification bar a few times a day. When I check it there are various ads that come from a domain called URL...how to determine which ap is causing these ads so I can delete or freeze it. I am usually not using any ap in particular when it happens so I don't know which one is responsible but I do want to stop it. It is most annoying when it is in the notification bar each time.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI must have the worst luck with phones. My Droid X was working flawlessly since I bought it last week and then suddenly won't get signal! I called VZW and was on the phone with them for over an hour. Tried everything and come to find out, my Droid Eris (previous phone) connects just fine. Some problem came up with the Droid X! Suffice it to say, they are sending a replacement in an week or two and I'm back to the Eris in the mean time. Anyone know how the heck this could've happened? I tried airplane mode on and off, turned the phone off and on, took out the battery while the phone was on, did a full system reset and went through all of the system stuff through VZW.

Calling is normal and internet works great. I've looked thru all the settings and restarted the phone with no luck. View 1 Replies View RelatedMy GPS quit working yesterday in Ruidoso, NM. Was working great all weekend, even in the mountains. Yesterday morning, it refused to find my location. Rebooted several times (didn't remove battery-should have) but it never kicked in. Turned GPS off, but kept turning it on periodically just to check it on the drive back to Austin. When we got home, I checked it one more time and it was working? I'm very glad it's working, but just wonder why it stopped? I really missed it!

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have had my Droid since lauch. The GPS which i use a ton geocaching and with the google maps has been flawless. Now all of a sudden the GPS has stopped being accurate. It always says im half mile to where i am, google maps/navigation doesnt work, and neither does any program i have that uses GPS. Always says the GPS Signal is not there. Any tips or has anyone have had this happen to you?

Suddenly this afternoon, it starts to auto-close anything I open after roughly 30 seconds, even if I am actively using the app. This includes native apps, and downloaded stuff. I am running Apollo Task Mgr (I checked the settings for auto-kill, and even turned off auto-kill), restarted the phone, searched the forum, and Googled it. Nada. Seems most people can't get apps to stay closed- I can't get them to stay open. Go fig. Also, I made no changes to settings today, no downloads, no nothing, just some Facebook, email, a few calls, Meebo, and SMS.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been using Handcent SMS for about a day because the original/stock messaging app wouldn't always deliver my multiple/group messages. Handscent SMS was workign fine until suddenly all my sms's dissapered from both the original/stock messaging app and from the additional Handscent app I downlaoded. Does anyone have any idea? Many have reported on other sites they have had this problem on "Android" phones especially on the 1.6 Versions. It is not nessarliy Handcent SMS related as some people's dissapered from the stock app.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI've been running with about 15-20mb of memory left for the last couple of months perfectly happily, haven't installed any new apps etc. This morning when I woke up the phone was suddenly reading completely full with something like 44kb of internal memory left. I went through and deleted a bunch of apps, emptied various caches and got the memory back down to 130mb of the 147mb. Now, I've had my phone on charge all afternoon, maybe 3 texts and 5 emails have come in and all of a suddenly the memory is totally full again! Most apps now force close because there's not enough memory to run them but something is obviously just filling up the memory somehow. Anybody else have this problem, or any ideas how to solve it?
View 2 Replies View RelatedSuddenly this morning my DROIDX decided that my wallpaper (an image that i have saved on my phone) is in landscape only mode.
When I go to edit the wallpaper the little box that comes up (so that you can crop, etc) is now landscape and not portrait. This results in two huge black bars above and below my picture on my wallpaper.
I dont know how this happend or how to get it back.........
Yahoo. worked absolutely flawlessly up to about 3 days ago. Anyone else? check your e-mail on a computer and see if you have missed emails being sent to your phone. Have not done anything other than the update and it worked fine after that. i did clear my cache for the first time yesterday, but the problem started before that.
