I am new to this so I was wondering how I get mp4 videos from my computer to my eris? I went to the help site and am pretty sure I synced it with my phone so how to I get those on my phone?

So I have several videos that are too large to be emailed and I was wondering how to get them off the Droid. When I connect it to the computer, I don't see them in any of the obvious folders. Any idea where they are stored or suggestions for me?

View 11 Replies View RelatedI sync my Eris with Outlook on my computer but have not done so since March 2010. When I now plug my Eris into a USB port, it does not recognize it as another drive or hardware like it used to. The computer does recognize other peripherals when plugged into the USB port.

The sound works fine on the phone but the problem seems to be with the video. Has anyone else experienced this? It happened on both Windows 7 and XP. I have noticed the file type is .3gp. Does this need converting or something?

View 11 Replies View RelatedI have observed that the Smartphones (particularly Android) do not perform as well as the computers when performance is compared on GPRS / EDGE.
I have tested streaming videos on while on GPRS / EDGE (not 3G or 4G) and observed that the smartphone gives up saying connection problem. When I stream the same videos with the same GPRS / EDGE connection through a USB Dongle on a computer(with same SIM Card inserted which was used for testing on Smartphone), the Computer performs better and is able to stream the Videos.
I request the experts to explain why this happens. The SIM and its location are the same and the speed received from it is also the same. Then why does the computer able to play it while the smartphone gives up saying connection problem.
I would like to clarify here that the GPRS / EDGE works alright on surfing websites etc. while the problem is only in streaming. I have tested this on various phones of Samsung / HTC / Motorola so the question of a particular phone having some problem does not arise.

I recently switched from the HTC Wing to the Motorola Cliq (love the phone!) but I can't figure out how to listen to music or watch videos streamed from my computer (photos work ok).I was using ORB on my Wing and it worked great.I'm trying to use it on the Cliq but with little to no success (I've also tried using androrb with no luck).
