HTC Droid Eris : Home Screen Is Completely Different And Lost My Custom Scene

I just got my eris so i was experimenting with apps. I was reading a thread about Lockbot and decided to see what it was all about.. I messed with it for a few mins and decided i didn't like it so i uninstalled it. When i pushed the home button a menu pushed up that said something along the lines of "Home or Sence" (or something like that) and i chose sence because i was curious. Now my home screen is completely different and lost my custom scene.

If you�ve ever used the �Work� scene, you�ve probably noticed that it has a calendar view (not just a widget) on the home screen. Anyway to get such a calendar on another scene I wish to use?

On the standard Droid X screen a Google search box is included as standard issue. I accidently dragged it to the trash and know can't find it. Any help on where it's hidden?

I have had my Eris for maybe 3 or 4 days and I absolutely love it. I have to thank all of you for the useful tips and tricks I have been reading.
I haven't had a problem until tonight.
I was using the stock browser on MySpace, finished what I was doing, logged out and used the back key to get back to the home screen, which I always do. I could never get back to the home screen, the farthest back it would take me was to the original MySpace login screen and I had to hit the home key to get back to the home screen.
When I now try to open the browser, it acts like it is loading, I see the status bar, which loads all the way, but other than that, the screen is completely white and stays that way - the whole screen is white and never does anything.
Could this have been caused by MySpace or maybe a browser issue that happened to occur while I was on MySpace?
I have cleared cache, cleared all data, rebooted a few times, force stopped it, killed it with advanced task manager and everything else I could think of.

I am trying to add the favorites to one of my home screens on a custom screen is it possible or do i have to select the stock scene and then change everything else? I've been thru every widget, program, shortcut, and can't locate it.

I'm still fairly new to the Android OS, switched over from an iPhone 3GS a few weeks ago. Trying to figure out what I did to delete my browser from the drawer....you can see in the first picture what it looked like earlier today and then in the second picture what it looks like now. I've tried dragging the browser icon down but it just replaces the phone or vice versa. I can't get it to go back to 3 options.

This is driving me crazy. The phone is pretty much useless when this starts happening. I will be on the Main home screen and then it will start jumping Home screens as if I'm swiping to the left but I'm NOT swiping! Once it is on the last screen to the left it won't let me switch back to HOME. I can almost never do anything when this happens. I haven't dropped the phone. I've reset the G-Sensor. Has anyone experianced this? I've even done a Wipe of the device.

I just installed lock 2.0 and i was just adjusting the settings and now every time I'm in my phone and i touch the "Home" button it locks my phone instead of taking me back to my home screen! Is this normal? Did I accidental do it in the settings? HELP its driving me crazy

So through a weird assortment of events i managed to crack the screen on my Eris. But this is the trippy part, I didnt break the glass but the touch sensors underneath. So now i am unable to use the menu or home buttons and the entire left part of my screen and more. I am unable to unlock my device in anyway that i know(menu button, the slider). Is there any other way to unlock it? I now have 11 unread texts and 4 voicemails that I desperately want to view. Oh and I know some of you won't be happy about what I'm about to say but.... I took the leap to the moto droid. I had the chance to get it on a 1 year because I didnt get insurance and I went for it. I will really miss my Eris but the keyboard lag was just killing me.

I don't know if I'm missing something in the settings or what, but every time I shake my Eris while running an app the screen automatically goes back th the home screen. This gets really annoying when using apps that require such actions. Anyone else having this issue or know what I'm doing wrong. Maybe an app that's causing it.

I have done a little bit or searching for this but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. So if it is out there then I am sorry for the repetitive post.I just updated to 2.1, and can't figure out how to switch to the Home instead of HTC Sense Home? Anyone out there know how to do this? Before on 1.5 OS, all I had to do was hold down the "Home" button to display my most recent 6 apps, then hit the button again to pick if I wanted "Home" or "HTC Sense".Now, that does not work.

I've been playing around with some of the other Home alternatives. So far, I found good things and bad things about each one of them. Right now, I'm trying out Helix launcher. I like the fact that I can add any shortcut to the bottom row next to the launcher. Open Home seems to have the most skins available. I like the clean look of the generic Android Home, but 3 screens is a little lacking.

i saw on some of the user interfaces that you can list your notes on a home screen. how to do that?. if i long press on a home screen it brings up note everything but not a list of all my items. i wanted to be able to see my list of things to do on the home screen. if this is not the right app to do that

I'm trying to go through these threads and nothing is making sense. I was a long time bb user and they seemed so much easier than this phone. Problem #1: When I hit the home button it used to ask if I wanted to go to the home screen or the HTC sense now it doesn't ask, how do I get it to ask again? Problem #2: Which is better to use the home screen or HTC sense? Why? Problem #3: I see that there is a new upgrade but when I go to the system upgrade it tells me my system is up to date? It currently reads V 1.5. I just wish I had a manual that I can just sit down and read and a tutorial to show me all the advantages of this phone over my bb.

I use HTC Sense on my phone, the problem I have is my phone is not saving my default home settings. When I push the home button it asks me which program I want to use to complete the action (either andriod Home or HTC Sense), I always click the box indicating I want to use this option as default every time I push home but 10 minutes later when I push the home button again it asks me again which program I want to use. I have double checked in my settings and it shows HTC Sense is set as my default home setting but something just isnt right.
