Jan 9, 2010I am new to this so I was wondering how I get mp4 videos from my computer to my eris? I went to the help site and am pretty sure I synced it with my phone so how to I get those on my phone?

Dec 27, 2009I have a ton of videos that were transferred from my old phone to my Eris, and they must have been saved to the phone's built in memory. I want to transfer them to the card so I can put them into my computer. Does anyone know how to do this? I have been unable to sync using the cord because of a driver issue. (I am too un-tech savvy to install a driver from the website-it was too complicated)

Jun 7, 2010I'm new to the whole "smart phone" thing but I have been able to figure out how to all the things I want to do on my Droid Eris so far except one.I like to watch videos on Hulu and Adult Swim Fix. When I try to watch them using my droid eris, I get a message that says this content can't play on this device.I have been able to watch YouTube videos but not the Hulu or AdultSwimFix ones.Does anyone know what I need to do to be able to watch these videos?Is there an app I need to get or a setting I need to change?

MP4, Mpeg4.I tried putting both on my phone and neither would play with the stock app. One had sound with no picture, the other had a picture that just stuck. Mar 4, 2010On my old SD card from my previous phone i had videos of my son and when i put that SD card into my Eris the videos play but don't have audio.. my levels on ringer and media are all the way up but still no sound.. I then changed from my old SD card that was 512mb to the 8 GB that came with the phone and still no luck.. i can play the videos on my computer through the SD card but they don't through my phone.. can someone please help? I have some very priceless moments of him since birth to now and he's about to turn 2.

Apr 7, 2010I'm having a hard time uploading videos that I record with my Eris to Facebook. After recording the video, Facebook is not one of the options that is presented to me when I click share. When I try YouTube, I get an error message that the video is too large. My only option is to e-mail it to myself, then go to my computer and upload from there. Not really what I'm looking for.
I believe there's an app called Qik or something like that which my do this but I'm not sure?

Oct 19, 2010i notice when i try to use my phone's "flash player capabilities" that it works like chit. for instance, it won't play videos streamed on justin.tv. and today i tried to go to kings of leon's website so i could listen to their new album from my phone (Kings of Leon | Come Around Sundown) but it failed to work again. i can see all the songs, click on the buttons, even track forward in the songs, but NO SOUND and the songs remain on pause and won't play. is there an update or some kind of APP i can install to where i can actually get some benefit from the flash player.

Dec 13, 2009Ever since my update I get a message that I the phone cannot play the video. Some play in low quality but when you try high quality it says it can't play it. I just go to the music category and most of the top videos I no longer can view. Did they change something with the update to prevent youtube videos from playing. A very low percentage play.
I'm using the youtube app on the menu.

Dec 26, 2009For instance: when I click on a video on cnn.com, the phone goes through the motions of downloading it and then I get a message: This content cannot play on this device.
When I go to the YouTube app and click on any video displayed, the message is Cannot play video. Sorry, this video cannot be played. The videos that I took with my phone and are stored on my SD are playing OK.

Jan 6, 2010I loaded about 4 gigs worth of videos (About 160 different clips) onto my 8 gig SD card. When I try to play a video, the video freezes after about 1-2 seconds, but the sound keeps playing. Is there any way to solve this? There's just over 3 gigs of free space on the card.
