So I have several videos that are too large to be emailed and I was wondering how to get them off the Droid. When I connect it to the computer, I don't see them in any of the obvious folders. Any idea where they are stored or suggestions for me?

I just took a 1 min HD movie to check how much space it would take, I searched my SD Card and couldn't find it. Is it on the internal memory? Just wanted to know how many 30 min movies I could take.

So I went to the Verizon site to check the LOST exclusives and saw the droid sporting the V-cast logo and saying we can get a free month trial. SO I go to the v-cast video page and click on compatible phones and there it is the droid and all blackberries and the ERIS. SO can anyone tell me how to download it?

This has been bothering me but at first it was just annoying. Now, I'm really frustrated. What's the point of being able to record videos with a phone if you can't upload them to the web? I have shot some really cool videos that I want to share with friends via YouTube, Facebook or e-mail and I always get the message that says you cannot upload files larger than 1GB or that I must resize them first or whatever.I see really long videos on youtube, why can't I upload a 1 or 2 minute video?Makes no sense whatsoever.Any ideas?

A couple of questions. How do you cut/copy and paste in Droid? Can it be done?
And, after making a video on Droid, how do you move it to your computer? I am assuming the video resides on the SD card (since this is where your photos go). Is the best way to transfer to just put the card in your computer, or is there a better way? Just asking for a buddy who made a video and tried to transfer via USB, and it only transferred a part of the video.

Anyone figured out what the magical combination is to make videos actually play on the phone from a DLNA server? I have tried Tversity and a few others changing all the settings around to find a combination that would work. Most of the settings I tried should have worked based on the formats supported on the X matching the transcode settings I had on Tversity but no luck.

I'm really new to Android and Droid phones in general. I'm trying to put a video (Hot Tub Time Machine) onto my Droid X so I can play it on my TV through HDMI.
How do I go about doing this?

This app is sooo cool! My Droid is now a DLNA Server. I am streaming my Droid's music, pics and video to my home network's DLNA Clients: PS3, PCs, and WD TV Live. TwonkyMedia Goes Mobile with Android Launch at CES:

I downloaded and installed from the Android Market. When you first start the app, it scans your phone for media. I turned on my Droid's Wifi. The TwonkyServer Mobile was immediately visible to any DLNA or UPnP client. It took 2 minutes. No setup was involved. The UI looks pretty cool too.

I've used Handbrake as recommended in this helpful thread (Put Videos on Droid) to convert .avi files to .mp4. I got a "Sorry, this video cannot be played" when I try to play it on my Droid.I also tried downloading an .mp4 file from a YouTube video (as converted by file2hd.com). But I still get that error message.I know this topic has come up before and it usually seems to be the way that the file was converted rather than some kind of setting on the Droid. What else should I try?

I cant seem to find an option on my droid for sending a video clip with Handscent mms. when I browse though my gallery and select a clip, I dont have an option to send using Handscent. I have tried the setting under the video camera mode to use 30 second clips for sending mms and i have tried using the lower quality setting as well. I do see the option for sending using the stock messaging app, but I was wondering if I could use Handscent to send these videos..

Sending pics and videos to a site for sharing is pretty easy. Now this is considering you have Photobucket and You Tube. Couldn't tell you about others. Basically after setting up your accounts with them, the camera software will send the pics to them thru the "share" option. Videos require a Wi-Fi connection. The new You Tube now does HD video, so they show up in high-quality 720p. Pretty much easy as can be. Sent a 15mb video in about a minute or so. Thought that was darn good.

Love the new Droid X. My only problem is with the speaker. The Volume is really low when playing music, youtube videos, ringtones, etc. The original Droid speaker is much louder. Is my Droid X defective? Or is the low volume normal?
