Dec 27, 2009I have a ton of videos that were transferred from my old phone to my Eris, and they must have been saved to the phone's built in memory. I want to transfer them to the card so I can put them into my computer. Does anyone know how to do this? I have been unable to sync using the cord because of a driver issue. (I am too un-tech savvy to install a driver from the website-it was too complicated)

Aug 16, 2010Just as the title says...Does anyone know how you rename a video that you shot with your phone? The stock media player for the Incredible $ucks number one because it only brings up an image of the video and has no other identifying feature such as a name for the video and number two I downloaded a third party app that has a better video player that does allow an image of the video and also a name of it but how do I go about renaming videos that I have taken. I tried on the computer and every time I selet a video to rename it, it tells me that renaming the video may make it unusable or something which obviously will defeat the purpose of making the video in the first place.

Jan 23, 2010I saved some wallpapers/backgrounds from the backgrounds app to my sd card. When I saved them, it said "saved to sd card in backgrounds directory(I think or maybe file?). I spent about 2 hours trying to find it---drained my battery doing it(battery still doing much better though--lasted 12 hours today with very, very heavy usage!).
I did see there are some apps to manage your sd card, but am thinking surely I can access it w/out one?

Oct 19, 2010i notice when i try to use my phone's "flash player capabilities" that it works like chit. for instance, it won't play videos streamed on justin.tv. and today i tried to go to kings of leon's website so i could listen to their new album from my phone (Kings of Leon | Come Around Sundown) but it failed to work again. i can see all the songs, click on the buttons, even track forward in the songs, but NO SOUND and the songs remain on pause and won't play. is there an update or some kind of APP i can install to where i can actually get some benefit from the flash player.

Dec 26, 2009For instance: when I click on a video on cnn.com, the phone goes through the motions of downloading it and then I get a message: This content cannot play on this device.
When I go to the YouTube app and click on any video displayed, the message is Cannot play video. Sorry, this video cannot be played. The videos that I took with my phone and are stored on my SD are playing OK.

Mar 4, 2010On my old SD card from my previous phone i had videos of my son and when i put that SD card into my Eris the videos play but don't have audio.. my levels on ringer and media are all the way up but still no sound.. I then changed from my old SD card that was 512mb to the 8 GB that came with the phone and still no luck.. i can play the videos on my computer through the SD card but they don't through my phone.. can someone please help? I have some very priceless moments of him since birth to now and he's about to turn 2.

Feb 17, 2010I usually view email with attachments from my pc because I usually lack the time to download the attachment. Today, I had some spare time so I tried to download an attachment. It downloaded fine but when I went to view it, I received a pop-up box to save it to the sd card. After pressing ok, I was told the save was successful but now I can't find it. I have tried Tversity and a few others changing all the settings around to find a combination that would work. Most of the settings I tried should have worked based on the formats supported on the X matching the transcode settings I had on Tversity but no luck.

HTC Droid Eris : Way To Delete Out Any Scenes Saved On Phone?
Mar 5, 2010First post here. Been reading for a few weeks and just got my Eris on Sunday. I tried a search for the answer to this question, but came up empty. It probably has been answered before and I just can't find it. Does anyone know the correct way to delete out any scenes that you have saved on the phone? I got over anxious right away with it and ended up having 4 saved scenes on top of the 6 from HTC that are already there. I would like to have just 2 extra ones total and be able to delete out 2 of them. That would give me basically the 6 HTC scenes and then a USer1 and USer 2 type of thing.
