I'm trying to install SDK for screenshots and development. I installed Eclipse and SDK and everything seems fine but the USB Drivers are not working correctly. I heard there was a revision of the USB drivers but not sure. If anyone has the lateset drivers please let know.

My home is the only place that I don't get voice/text signal and if I leave my phone on it drains the battery searching for signal. I typically leave the phone in airplane mode while in the house and occasionally turn the airplane mode off to pick up the wifi and check email. Is there anyway to have the wifi operate continuously to notify me of emails, but have the voice/text service off to conserve battery?

View 49 Replies View RelatedI have a stock Eris and the other day my sdcard went corrupted. I learned this from when I got the new swype beta email and went to download the .apk. It told me a sdcard was required (I had never taken the sdcard out of the phone to being with). Anyways I brought it to verizon and the guy said it was done and gave me a 16gb card (8 was in there previously). So now I was able to download the .apk file; however when I try to click on it to install it says I can't because there is not enough space on Phone.
Now I don't know how much for it is required. But I have 14gb on the card available and 25mg on the internal phone storage. Now since uninstalling swype and trying to download I haven't added any more apps that would take up additional space. I've actually uninstalled a few, so I should have more space than I did before this whole thing started.
Is it possible to do the leaked 2.0 without having a card reader? Anyone have it set so you can do it with the USB cable?
View 11 Replies View RelatedJust manually upgraded to the 2.1 OTA from stock 1.5. Did a factory reset prior to upgrade. Everything seems to be working fine except that I get this error message when trying to install any app:
Installation error: Insufficient storage available
When I check the phone storage settings I see this:
SD Card: 7.39GB total space - 7.27GB available space
Internal phone storage: 136MB
Also, I'm noticing that the "Format SD Card" option is greyed out.
So I saw that Droid commercial showcasing some popular apps and noticed a skype app. I've searched for it many times before and just though that there was no skype app on the android market, but apparently there is. Whenever I search for it I can't get it to come up though. Anybody having this problem or know of a fix?! I did the manual install of 2.1 a few months back btw, in case that makes a difference.

I was in the habit of installing multiple applications from the market before rebooting, but started having problems with the phone not working and getting other error messages so I now try to reboot after each install. I just tired to install and run advance task killer (ATK) twice and after each reboot I'd get at least 2-3 errors. If I uninstall it and reboot all seems to be ok. Same happened with Bloo and an AK-47 app (game).
