View 4 RepliesI have a Droid X with the OTA 2.2 rooted and when I put the phone in Vibrate the phone will not vibrate at all not for phone calls, text, or email? I have "MINI INFO WIDGET" and when I go in there to adjust the volume to vibrate it will work but then when I try to go back to Sound Profile I have to manually adjust the sound again? I have Vibrate Widget and when that is selected it goes to silent only. I tried Uninstalling MINI INFO and VIBRATE WIDGET but I still have the same result sooo it can't be the programs.
View 3 Replies View RelatedBefore 2.2 There was a vibrate only option if you rocked the volume down just before the silent all option. Now, I can either only have vibrate with audio and a complete silent option; or a vibrate all option with no complete silent.
The vibrate only was great for things like movies, meetings, etc. The silent was great also when the vibrate itself is loud enough for an entire room to hear the buzz. Is there a script or an option I'm overlooking that would allow me to get that back?
I'm running BB v0.3, OC'd 1100 Max.
I'm trying to take some screen shots of my droid so I can post, does anyone have an idea of how I do so with a Mac computer?

View 49 Replies View RelatedIn some screenshots it shows me someone is calling me from my google voice number (not just my google number showing on the caller ID). Any one know if this needs to be set up a certain way?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was able to change to a vibrate profile very quickly, which simply put the whole phone, both calls and messages in a vibrate mode. On the Droid X, the only way that I've found to do this is to turn the ringer volumn all the way down and then go one more step and it turns it to vibrate. Is this correct? I mean, is there an easier way. I was hoping for a widget or something that I can just hit and it would put it in vibrate quickly and then hit it again to return to where I was before.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy text messages have stopped vibrating when I get them. All the settings are correct and I have uninstalled anything that would change the settings!
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo for some reason my vibrate will no longer work on texts (haven't got any calls yet should probably try it). A couple of my buddies are having problems with theirs not vibrating too however I did just root and they're running on stock stuff (one just dropped his on his driveway though so he thinks that's the reason).
Is it do to rooting or is it happening to anyone else?
I am new to Android and I'm just curious how I make my Droid X vibrate when I get texts. When I put it in vibrate mode it just vibrates on calls but not texts. Do I need an app for this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm sure there is a way to do this, I just haven't messed around enough, I guess. Whenever I put my phone on "vibrate", it kicks my phone into silent mode for all other alerts, so I never know when I get text msgs or chats. If I go into the settings and uncheck the Silent Mode, it takes my phone's ringer off of vibrate mode. So.... what I'm looking to have happen is to have my phone on vibrate only, and recieve my other alerts as vibrate as well.
View 10 Replies View RelatedSo, when i put my phone on a Vibrate (using the volume buttons on the side) it just puts it in Silent Mode, but with a vibration icon. it doesn't vibrate for anything. granted it doesn't make a noise so that's not all bad, but it just sits there and flashes its little light...
Cause i mean it is the easiest way for me to just pop it into vibrate mode, but the vibrate doesn't work, and i don't want it completely silent, as i do still want to know when i get something.
The Droid won't vibrate?? Seriously, can we get this crap fixed?? And don't tell me to use Audio Manager, because that doesn't work either. A "smart phone" should have the capability to vibrate!!!
View 3 Replies View RelatedThe vibrate feature for my text and email alerts no longer functions. It is just completely silent (ringer is off, but phone is set to vibrate, not silent). I have the setting for Also Vibrate on Notification checked so my setting are right, it seems. The vibration works for incoming calls, but not my alerts... I did have locale installed which is the only app I can imagine messing with it. I have uninstalled Locale but the problem persists.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just got my droid x last week and I like it. I only have a couple problems. One I can't seem to getnmy phone to vibrate when receiving txts or calls when in silent mode. I went into settings and I have vibrate set to only vibrate in silent mode but it doesn't.Also it may be just me but it seems like other phones I have the in call volume was extremely loud. My old phone I could hear the person clear as day even holding the phone away from me. With the droid x I have volume maxes out but its not white as loud. Its not that bad I can still hear but I was just wondering. My other speakers such as media work great and are extremely loud. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thank you and God bless.

View 5 Replies View RelatedCan anyone recommend a good app for automatically switching to a profile based on corporate calendar (or Touchdown Exchange) "busy" setting to avoid ringing during meetings. It should switch back at the end of the meeting to the previous profile that was in use. Will Locale do this? The user comments are not too great for that program and it wasn't clear if it would do this so I was hoping to find something else. "Phonealarm" on my old Windows Mobile phone was a great program that did this and allowed tons of other settings as well but does not seem to be slated for development for android.
View 10 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone else get a high pitched buzz when the phone vibrates? There's actually an audible sound that I hear especially when I'm using my keyboard. I guess I can deal with it, but I'm wondering if this is normal.
View 5 Replies View RelatedAnyone know if there's a way to do this? Right now I have to keep an eye on the notification LED and that doesn't really work if it's in my pocket...
View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter the Touchdown update I can't get any of my notifications to vibrate for either email or SMS. The phone will still vibrate. I emailed Touchdown and they said that they have heard some things about the vibrate issue but have not been able to duplicate the problems, he recommended a reboot which after two times has not done anything to help the situation. I have to have the vibrate settings for work so I'm screwed without them.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I know how to use electronics, I know how to read manuals, I know how to work settings, etc. I'm not a beginner. However I do need help. My phone doesn't ring audibly. I do get vibrate, but no sound. Rings don't work with standard system ringtones, my music, ringdroid ringtones. All I get is vibrate. On the other hand, notification tones are working perfectly fine (from anywhere).
