I can't install any apps from the market, when i try to install them it just sits at "starting download", no matter how long i let it sit. It's been like this for a few days now.Any idea what the problem could be? Everything else works great just can't download apps anymore.

Just manually upgraded to the 2.1 OTA from stock 1.5. Did a factory reset prior to upgrade. Everything seems to be working fine except that I get this error message when trying to install any app:
Installation error: Insufficient storage available
When I check the phone storage settings I see this:
SD Card: 7.39GB total space - 7.27GB available space
Internal phone storage: 136MB
Also, I'm noticing that the "Format SD Card" option is greyed out.
Is there a way to initially install the apps on the SD card instead of internal memory?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI installed MR2 a few days ago rather than waiting on the OTA update. Now I can't download a couple paid apps from the Market that I had previously paid for. WeatherBug Elite is one of them, it doesn't even show up when I do a search in the Market.
Some searching turned up a similar issue on other HTC devices on another carrier, something about an OS foot print? Is there a way to get around this? It's pretty obnoxious.
I am running WW 4.6 right now and i did a titanium back up to try out one of the new Froyo ROM. I didn't like it so i tried to n android restore back to WW and that wouldn't even work. So i re flashed WW and tried to reinstall my apps and it says "not enough memory" or something along those lines every time i try to reinstall an app.

Games like fruit ninja and angry birds will not install on my phone. I have more than enough memory for them and they are downloaded fine, just fail on install. Ive tried all sorts of roms, wiping data/cache, and fix permissions. The market gives me this message "unknown error-18" any help would be great as this sucks.

Running the 2.1 UD rom and all of a sudden this morning I can no longer install apps. They DL ok, but never install. Apps are DL from market/appbrain. have not made any changes to the rom. Any suggestions?

I have Advanced Task Killer, and when I go in for example it shows Messages running, when I kill it, it will reappear in 30 secs or so, the same with MP3 store. Can these apps be stopped so they don't take up memory or what's the deal here. Thanks for any help.
