I have only been an Eris owner for a few hours and I already need a helping hand. I trashed the "Favorites" by mistake. I thought I was deleting one entry and lost the whole page. Anyone know how to retrieve the page. I will be eternally grateful.

I have a few people in my favorites on my evo. When I tried calling someone i accidentally clicked "send sms" so now the button only sends an sms. I can't find any way to change it. Can someone tell me how to edit what this button does...when i hold the bottom part of it on the "name part" it just gives me different options on how to sms.

How do I transfer those sms messages to the memory card, without deleting them? Also how do I add contacts from my sim to the favorites section on the Home page?
View 7 Replies View RelatedSo i was having issue with my favorites disappearing. It was a pain with my Favorite People widget.It has to do with your sync. To fix it, you have to go to the gmail website and add your favorites to the website. If you don't it will keep syncing your favorites with the site, thus the disappearing. I would think it should be a 2 way sync, but I guess not. Either that or this is a syncing bug

View 1 Replies View RelatedA friend of mine has the HTC Incredible and asked me, since I have the Eris and they are pretty similar, how to change the default action in Favorite people. When he set up his wife as a favorite, he accidentally chose to "send text" as the default action. He wants to change it to dial her cell number. I read the instructions for my Eris on how to do this.It tells me "To change the default communication method for a favorite contact, press and hold the contact, and then tap Change default action."When I do this, I do not get an option to change default action. Same for him.

I was trying to figure out how to delete one of those contacts from my favorites and I sent the whole screen into the remove box and deleted it (I've since figured out how to remove a singe contact). How do I get that screen back?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have had the Eris for 3 days now and I mostly get the hang of it. I'm running 2.1 (newest build).
Last night I linked all the contacts in "people" with Facebook (for people that are on FB). When I press "phone" now it lists nearly all my facebook friends. I did not add them. How did this happen? Oddly it did not do all of them. It stopped half way through the Ts. As much as I like all my "friends" there are least 200 of them I do not want listed on my "phone" list. How can I remove them from the phone list? There does not appear to be any way to delete them. When I do the "people" program they are not listed there. Is there anyway to remove these friends from the phone list and if I do will the phone try to put them back there?
Is there any way to have multiple phone numbers for the same person in favorites? I want to have my wife with her cell number and her work number there. It appears that I can only have her once in favorites with one number. It would also work if I could select which number when I pressed her button. It does not look like this is possible. Any ideas?
Whenever I sync my Google Contacts, I lose my Favorites on my phone. How can I fix this?

Verizon phone....like the Eris. And the reviews seem to be pretty positive.Anyone have any experience with Page Plus?cause their plans are cheap....much cheaper than Verizon.

Anyway, does anyone know if PPC would get the updates as well, since they use VZW's network? I'm guessing no, they would have to set up their own distribution, but don't really know. I get a page "You are not authorized to view this page" web page..Anyone else have this issue? Is this a limitation of Android? I've tried messing with all the settings and still nothing. How do I change it to show our current location? I have tried adding cities in the Weather app.
