Mar 7, 2010I installed XScope g and it opens fine works like it should. But, every page comes up unavailable. Like I have no Internet connection?

Nov 17, 2010It says I have full bars but I can't even use the internet because it takes minutes just to load up pages and half of the time it says web page is unavailable. Sometimes it won't even send text messages and calls are breaking up and its hard to hear them.

Jul 27, 2010After using every browser imaginable for the Droid X, I think I've finally settled on one that works the best. Stock, Dolphin HD, Opera and Skyfire all look a little sluggish compared xScope. Throughout most of the other threads suggesting apps and browsers I rarely saw this one get more than a cursory mention, so I thought it would be nice to point everyone towards another option. I'm currently using the lite version, but I'm more than likely going to pony up for the paid to help out the developer and unlock some features.

Its pretty awesome, however I cannot get it to launch the YouTube player to play YouTube videos OR download them, any workaround for this? Named 'xScope', I did put a $2.99 price tag tough if you please excuse me. Sep 16, 2010I'm using Xscope browser and picked the option to remember username/password on websites that I visit. However, my password has changed but it still tries to auto-populate the website fields with these values. Anyone know of a way to get it to stop so I can edit it with the new values?
When I contacted Xscope's developer, he mentioned that it wasn't any settings within the browser and that xScope doesn't store or manage it. The android webkit does. Anyone know what this means and where do I go to edit sites' field values the browser remembers?

Apr 14, 2014I have the tronsmart CX-919 mini pc running 4.2 and there is an issue with the browser reverting back to the home page or the previous page. When I try to display a webpage on our intranet it reverts back to the homepage or previous page after about 3 hours. I need it to display constantly. I read somewhere that it was a Download Manager issue and disabling it would work but I can't find where to disable it. Also it was stated that Flash was an issue but i tried uninstalling it and it just reinstalled itself and the problem kept occurring. I just want to display a page in a browser and for it to stay on the screen (full screen) until I manually navigate away from it. I plan to leave it on for weeks at a time.

Using an HTC Incredible, we see the scrollbars are again missing, but we cannot figure out any gesture that allows the user to scroll. Is there a special directive we need to add to our HTML? This should affect zillions of websites, any time someone is trying to scroll an area of the page rather than the whole page. Does anyone know how to enable scrolling a div using the web browser on Android phones?

HTC Desire : SD-card Unavailable After USB-connection - Your Content Is Unavailable
Apr 26, 2010So I used my phone as a storage-device connecting it to my computer via USB earlier today, and just now I notice that I can't browse my photos or music. It says:
"Your content is unavailable because your phone is being used as USB storage. Disconnect USB to access your content."
Before unplugging the phone earlier, I rightclicked the little icon at the bottom-right of my computer screen and chose "disconnect storage device", after which I received notification that it was then safe to remove the device. Is there something more I should be doing, a similar setting in the phone? Or did it just bug and I need a reboot?

Sep 19, 2010I don't understand this. When you hit the back button after following a link, you go back to the previous page, but not where you left off. The browser seems to just throw you somewhere near the top of the page. Is there a settings fix for this, or is it just how it works?

Jul 2, 2010i've had my phone about 3 weeks now. up until last week, the htc weather widget would update to my current location. when i was home, it would show the town i live in. i also had the google internet option to use my location and this would also work perfectly until last sunday.now, the weather location was stuck on miami no matter where i went (as far north as west palm beach) and the internet shows up 'location unavailable'. i have found out that the gps is picking up where i am in goggle maps but it seems that the cell towers are not as far as weather and internet location are concerned. i have tried all of the obvious settings.i did a factory reset and now my weather says ft lauderdale which is closer to me but still not my town. it does not update (manually either) as i move. the internet location still says location unavailable although for a fleeting minute after the factory reset, it DID locate me....then it was gone so i called verizon, they didn't have a clue. then i took it to the store and it turns out EVERY phone the tech tried in the store had the same problem, including his. he told me it was a google problem and there was nothing he could do about it. i felt if i tried explaining how that would make it a verizon problem as well, it would be a losing battle
