Jun 29, 2010Is there anyway to get Live Wallpapers on the Eris? It's one of my favorite 2.1 features. I'd be willing to root my phone if I had to, but, I want Live Wallpapers. I looked through the Android Market, and found some, but most were only single background ones that weren't appealing, and had no ratings. PS, A bit of an off topic, but, is there a good replacement for the Sense UI's lock screen?

Apr 21, 2010I'm rooted on the newest 2.1 leak, and running helix launcher and i use the nexusmod live wallpaper. I'll make it my wallpaper, lock my phone, and when i unlock my phone my old wallpaper is back, with nexusmod not active. How can I fix this? It's driving me nuts!

Apr 22, 2010Ok so i just rooted my eris, and got it to the eris21official-root, there are a few things that i really want and i was wondering if i have to do an add or what to make these work from here.
-Live wallpapers
-Nexus launcher
-a better looking photo gallery viewer, im stuck at the stock crap one
-a better music player same reason as above
-and last is a better lock screen, i really liked the one that had the slient button and the lock on the same dial and it was just which way you spun it

Mar 31, 2010My 2.1 update got pushed through this morning and I immediately set a Live Wallpaper on my desktop. I have found that the wallpeprs don't "stick" when I turn the screen off and then turn it back on, it defaults back to the wallpaper I had set prior to changing it to the Live Wallpaper, or the screen just has a black background. At first I thought it maybe Live Wallpaper was conflicting with my Locale app, so I disabled it, but it's still doing it after.

Of course this requires root, and as such, please keep all discussion on how to get it running in the following thread: http://androidforums.com/all-things-root-droid/46759-release-live-wallpapers-2-0-1-a.html However, I'm posting this in the common area so that more people can see it. Also, I want to point out that these do run very smoothly, even at stock clock speeds. So, I don't know why Motorola wouldn't include this in our OTA update. It's certainly not for hardware reasons. Anyways.
