My home account is from Verizon managed through yahoo. I go to a yahoo mail page but log in as myname@verizon.net.I know there is an option for making email as spam through gmail. But I cannot figure out how to do it on my pop mail acct on my phone. I've searched the forums to no avail.

I am a converted BB user. One of the features i cant seem to find that i liked on the BB is the select all/previous and mark as read function. I have tried pressing keys on the keyboard (if only there was a ctrl+A function) and looking under every menu i can find. Does anyone have any idea as to how i could do this?

View 12 Replies View RelatedA couple nights ago, I installed a picture frame widget from the Market. Nice black frame, just what I wanted. Since then I've been getting unsolicited Spam texts. I don't know for sure, though, if its the widget causing the trouble. The reason I suspect it now is that there was no screen detailing what types of permissions the app had when I chose to install. I didn't think anything of it at the time, since it was supposed to be basically an inert widget. Now I'm regretting my naivete. So, I've uninstalled the pic frame (and Messaging Widgets just to be safe). Anything else I should do at this point? I don't do any banking or buying on my phone, but still.

I understand this is usually best done from the email server side of things, but this is where we are right now. This is regarding his work email, and I've suggested that he have gmail fetch it for him so they can filter it (does this work for fetching? I know it works great for emails sent directly to gmail), alas, he says he only has an imap server and no Pop3 server for gmail to fetch. I looked in the market and found only one not terribly highly rated app for filtering email spam on Android phones. If you've tried that email filtering app, it worked?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI started using Android 4.1.2 with its E-Mail App 4.1 and Exchange Services 5.0 (hope it is called like this, in German it is "Austauschdienste").
After setting up the connection to the Exchange server (works perfectly), I responded to an Email. Unfortunately, the Email didn't get marked with the tag/arrow answered in Outlook (in the app itself it got marked...). Before I used the app MailDroid. There it worked. Is there any possibility/explanation/wrong configuration, why the answered status is not synced?
My phone works fine. Aside from rooting troubles, it boots up perfectly. Im on hboot 1.47 and want to root so I've been experimenting with it. ANyways, I boot into recovery mode, and all that came up was a picture of an eris with a red exclamation mark on it. What does this mean?
View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen i get an email (gmail) and I attempt to download the rest of the message, it gives me an error and tells me that there's not enough space and instructs me to delete messages. After deleting almost all messages, i still get the same error.
Do the messages get stored on my card or device? SHould i delete my podcasts that rest on my card?
I currently have a BB Storm1, but am thinking of getting the Eris today. I use my BB for both business and pleasure, and would need to have at least 2 email accounts on the phone. Is this a possibility (I assume it is, but I just need some confirmation). Also, does anyone have any pros/cons that I should know about the Eris? I really hate my my storm at this point, and think I am ready to leave BB entirely. Would love some thoughts.

Am I missing something obvious in Froyo to do this?

I am coming from the Storm and with one of my email accounts I had to forward emails to someone without an email account. I was able to on the Storm forward it as an mms and they received it on their phone that way.
My question, is there a way to forward my pop3 email as an mms or similar so that I don't have to re-type these emails as sms/mms texts?
Is there not a way to do a question mark while using the slide out keyboard?

After a couple days it just stops working and then I have to reenter all my info again.It is frustrating.Has this happened to anyone else?
