I'm really new to Android and Droid phones in general. I'm trying to put a video (Hot Tub Time Machine) onto my Droid X so I can play it on my TV through HDMI.
How do I go about doing this?

So I have several videos that are too large to be emailed and I was wondering how to get them off the Droid. When I connect it to the computer, I don't see them in any of the obvious folders. Any idea where they are stored or suggestions for me?

I have tried Tversity and a few others changing all the settings around to find a combination that would work. Most of the settings I tried should have worked based on the formats supported on the X matching the transcode settings I had on Tversity but no luck.

I got a "Sorry, this video cannot be played" when I try to play it on my Droid.I also tried downloading an .mp4 file from a YouTube video (as converted by file2hd.com). But I still get that error message.I know this topic has come up before and it usually seems to be the way that the file was converted rather than some kind of setting on the Droid. What else should I try?

I tried this in the YouTube app and the browser, but I got the same results. For this particular search, my Droid came up with 4 results, and my computer 20 results. I've also done google searches for particular videos, only to get a "video not compatible with YouTube mobile" (or something like that). Are these 2 issues related? Is my search on my Droid only finding mobile-compatible videos?

I have yet to be able to play any youtube videos on my phone, whether it be from the youtube widget, a browser window, or a facebook link. It just goes to loading video, and it never loads. After the update, I just tried something that I didn't see before:
1. When you connect HDMI cable in your phone, it brings the "Video out Connected" in the notification bar, before when I clicked on it, nothing happened (at least on my phone nothing happened), now that I click on it, it gives three options for your output video
Automatic
720p (1280x720)
480p (720x480)
2. It plays youtube videos.
Now, I know for a fact that the update was the reason for this.
Before, I got a "MODE NOT SUPPORTED" message and it didn't even bring the three options above, and now I can play youtube videos.
When I connect my Galaxy Nexus to my TV over HDMI, I can play YouTube videos but *only* the video shows on my TV.
I paired my phone with a Bluetooth mouse, but if I move the mouse or click (or tap the phone with my finger), the pause button and seek bar ONLY show on the phone, NOT the TV.
I would like to use the Bluetooth mouse as a remote, but obviously with no on-screen controls appearing, this is difficult.
When I connect my Incredible to my ps3 I can see my pictures and my music but not my videos. Help would be appreciated.

On the ESPN 3 site you can watch full length games and I can browse to this site on my Incredible but when I get the viewing window, I just get a little yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in it. tried usb debugging tried it off.. when i plug it in nothing will pop up that will say it is. it will charge.. but thats about it. it wont let me change from pc mode to mass storage.. upgraded drivers.. tried Motorola media link.. tried turning it off with the sd card unmounted.. tried removing the battery.. did a hard restore. i tried on 3 computers in my house. nothing seems to be working out. all i want to do is put a video from my phone to my pc.
