I installed the driver for Samsung moment in my computer but it still does not read it... Do I have a setting on the phone like blackberries do for mass storage? is it windows 7? Please help. How do I sync or at least import those pics and videos?

How do I get the pictures taken with my phone on my computer? I need to back them up before I root my phone and I can only save the ones on my sd card but cant seem to find the ones taken with my phone. I am guessing they got saved to the phones memory.

When I connect my phone to my computer via USB, it doesn't come up as an external drive, it just charges it.

View 6 Replies View RelatedHow to connect my phone via USB cable to my computer. I know you turn off USB debugging option under development. I connect the USB cable that came with my phone to USB on my computer and then to my phone. At the top of my phone it comes up with the notification to mount my card touch on that and them my phone comes up saying to turn off mass storage. Using Windows XP and in explorer can see the SD card showing as a drive in my list however when I click on it it shows nothing.
I can see the notice of the usb drive in the listings showing that I can turn it off, which I do before I disconnect the phone from my computer. Then I try to connect the USB again to my phone and all it does is show its charging the phone now, usually the only way to resolve is either to restart my computer or restart my phone and the problem starts all over again. I am tired of taking the card out of my phone manually to connect it to my computer to move or copy files or anything to my card which is an 8GB sandisk micro sd card.
I have searched for a bit but cant find anything helpful. I signed up to get a invitation to Google voice, but still haven't received an invitation. So im trying other options. Any good programs out there to send texts from your pc to cell phones? I want to be able to hook my cell phone up to my computer to send them, so it doesn't cost anything.

I've been on forum after forum and asked the same question but no one seems to know the answer or will tell me the REAL correct place to find it. I have a Samsung Moment with Android 2.1. I can not get videos that DID play on Android 1.5 to play on 2.1 now with very few exceptions. I'm not just talking about different videos with the same format, I'm talking about some of the exact same videos that did play in 1.5 will no longer play in 2.1. These are almost all AVI files. If Android doesn't support AVI natively with it's own stock media player then why or how was I able to play these videos flawlessly on 1.5? The way I always played the videos was viewing my SD card, tapping the thumbnail of the video I wanted, and it would automatically open up in the phones media player right away. Now the phone locks up and then eventually gives an error message.

I cannot play youtube videos on the sprint network or on wifi. Everytime without fail I get a message saying "cannot play at this time"
For some reason, youtube videos are not working on my phone. They were working lasst night!? I am running the HQ youtube app FYI and am on Dd10. Why did it suddenly stop working? Now when I click into videos, it says cannot play video.

One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned! I've tried everything I installed from sprint download site. I have tried Samsung studio. Also the tethering site. Also just the drivers nothing seems to work.

When I try to turn it on, it just shows a Samsung logo with a phone and a computer under it and a dotted line connecting between. In the middle of the line is an exclamation point! I just tried to download it again on a different computer and the same system error occurred! Why is this happening? I can't turn my phone on now but can enter download mode.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThis just started happening recently: ill be watching videos in high quality, then all of a sudden ill click to watch another video and go through the menu to set it to high quality and only get home page and settings (high quality is supposed to be the third option).
I have connection, etc but the option just decides not to show up and the only way I got it back the last few times its done it is by turning the phone off/on. Anybody else run into this or am I missing something?

View 7 Replies View RelatedFirst post. I've looked up this topic so as to try to avoid posting a duplicate, however I can't seem to get the specific answer I'm looking for even still. Been trying to figure out how to do this all day now and have a headache, so please forgive my aggravation. All I am trying to do is store a picture for each contact on my contact list. I can only find pictures stored taken directly from my phone camera. I cannot find any pictures stored on my SD card. Now, before I am told I need to hook up my Moment to a computer with the USB cable, every time I do that all that happens is the phone charges and neither the computer nor the phone recognize each other. I tried saving pictures and e-mailing them to myself, where I then tried saving them to the phone and the only way I could do that was through the SD card. I do not even know how to physically remove or add the SD card as there does not seem to be any openings on the phone itself for it. My laptop runs Windows XP. My question is: How do I access the saved pictures on my SD card AND how do I get my computer to recognize my phone if I need to use it to do this?

My question is that recently since I have upgraded I've been having issues with loading my pictures to Facebook.It seems it wants to "hang" in loading status at 0% or sometimes will only go to like 18% and stay there.I have to power off & on to stop it and retry.And *if* the picture does load it takes FOREVER to.Before it would just fly right through uploading.Sometimes it literally takes HOURS before it will load.I have tried uninstalling & reinstalling the Facebook app too.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been playing around with the Vignette demo version for a couple of days and I'm having an issue that I hope is just related to this being the free version. I know that the free version of Vignette only saves pictures at the really small size. When I take a picture through the app and save a square version of it, it's saving at 540 by 540 pixels. When I open the app and import another picture I've taken with the phone and use exactly the same effects, I get a 275 by 275 pixel square. I'm thinking of buying the full version, will the pictures I import and process always turn out smaller than the ones I take with the camera?

The sound works fine on the phone but the problem seems to be with the video. Has anyone else experienced this? It happened on both Windows 7 and XP. I have noticed the file type is .3gp.
