Since the Eris doesn't have a flash is there anyway to take good night/dark photos? All the good "kodak moments" happen at night.
View 32 Replies View RelatedOne of the big things I was looking forward to with 2.1 was full flash support. But, as we should have expected, thats a no go for 1st gen phones. In this article they make mention of the processor architecture being the reason, does this mean that even after root and some hacking it will never work? Or is that just Adobe's excuse? No Flash 10.1 for 1st gen Android phones

View 3 Replies View RelatedI rooted my phone about a month ago and had been running Amon RA's recovery. Today I decided to try out ClockworkMod's recovery because I had heard that it will install packages without a signature. So I flashed the latest Clockwork Recovery. Everything went fine, but when I tried to install any new Roms such as Evil Eris 4.0, nothing happened. It just would reboot into the stock ROM.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have rooted Eris, but am just running the standard ROM thing that came with GRDLOCK's script. Tried out EE 2.1 I think, but kinda crashed a lot on me, and froze up a bunch, so I just went back to the nandroid backup of the basic and stuck with it. That was like 2 months ago, and I thought maybe now, I should actually try out a real ROM. Now that EE 3.0 is up, I want to give it another shot. The question in all this crap is if I need to flash EE 2.0, and 2.1 to flash 3.0?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm sure that this has been asked before, but after searching the forum I came up with some older posts regarding flash player (obviously not released at that point). Anyways, I received my HTC Incredible and noticed that it has full flash support, but my brother's HTC Eris does not. Is there any release for flash for the Eris or does it have to wait until the full release?

I am finding myself flashing my phone several times a day. Tweaking roms moving ring tones or other things that one rom may not have. I am wondering am I going to burn out my phone doing this???? LOL I just can't settle on the perfect combination. The most consistent ROM for me yet has been Evil Eris 3.0 but the GPS doesn't work. I loved White Widow but a day after install it started lagging badly. I want KaosFroyo but I have to have a working camera. And my favorite keyboard is the HTC_IME_mod!!!! And all the roms don't have this one.

This is not polling for re-flashing a ROM or flashing a new ROM for fun or out of curiosity; I'd like to see a poll of rooters who messed up something and needed to either re-flash their zip file and start over or had to find and go to another ROM because the current one just was not working.
So right now I'm running Aloysius Snow, and I can only overclock to 710. Is there a way to "flash-over" a different kernel so that I can overclock to say, 768?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI had my phone rooted and I accidentally hit volume down and power instead of volume up and power (I was going to flash a new ROM). I was asked to press action and update like I did the first time I rooted but after it was finished I tried to go and flash a ROM it just brought me to a screen with an android robot and a triangle with an exclamation point. What I need to know is do I need to re-root and if not what do I need to do?
