View 11 RepliesAfter following the guide to a T that GrdLck posted, I cannot get to the adb. When I try to add the drivers, I get an error saying not found. I have tried on 2 diff machines. Win 7 32bit and 64bit. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Am I missing something?
View 29 Replies View RelatedHow bad is the lag on the Eris? I am looking into a new phone and the Motorola Droid is a little to big for me and i dont need a bunch of apps for my phone i just need the basics. Is the lag a lot and is it noticeable ?
View 13 Replies View RelatedI switched from hotmail to gmail when I got this eris. Wow, gmail kicks hotmail's butt! My question however is how do I make the text bigger in the Gmail app? Pinch and zoom doesn't work and I can't find and zoom options.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had my Eris for about 3 weeks now and I love it generally. But I have this one issue that is now driving me nuts. When I plug it into my Macbook running OSX 10.5.8 and mount the drive, it only appears on the desktop and in Iphoto. It does not appear in ANY Finder window or list. This has not been a problem yet because I've been at work where I have an external monitor in addition to the Macbook's monitor and I can see the Eris on the desktop. But this morning I am at home and have just the macbook. The only place I can see my Eris on the Macbook is in Iphoto which is not helpful to me because I want to move a Voice Recorder file onto the Hard Drive and add some music to the Eris. But I cannot because I can't get at it unless I am in Iphoto.
Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have any suggestions? The drive is mounted. And I have tried plugging in, mounting and then unmounting, plugging back in and then mounting again. Nothing.
Does the incredible have a camera flash?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo today I was driving in my car with my phone on the space between the gear shifter and the console( Lexus ES300- forget the name of the place). Anyway, I had it there and when I touched it, it was hot to the touch. I checked the Temp and it clocked up to 47.8 degrees Celsius (wish the standard HTC battery widget came with an option to change to Fahrenheit). I was alarmed as it has never gone that high before and I was not doing anything with it while driving (as that would be stupid). An hour later I was driving again and plugged it into the car charger to charge it and it shot back up to mid 40's range. Could it be the sun reflecting off of the plastic?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI just got my Droid yesterday and so far I like it. It was annoying that I couldn't get my Yahoo account set up, then I found instructions on the internet for the manual setup (Thank You to Smilepack, whoever you are!). NOW, my next problem is this: can I delete on email on the Droid without deleting it on my actual Yahoo or Gmail account? My BlackBerry had a "Delete on Handheld only" option. That would really be nice to have.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy dad and I did the Buy One Get One Free deal with the Moto Droid and the Eris. He's liking more than the Treo I convinced him was outdated but he's having trouble with it calling people while in his pocket. According to him, after he pressing the red button to hang up a call and puts the phone in his pocket, awhile later someone will be on the line, or when he means to ignore a call it'll pick up. He's pretty good with technology.I think I may have posted in the wrong forum? Not sure if this one is Droid specific. I got redirect to this one from another post dealing with a similar issue on an Eris that never got answered.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI don't know how to get handset to stop displaying so many texts, I just wanna hide a few so I can get rid of the lag, I know thats why its there..
View 7 Replies View RelatedI dl'd Doubletwist to my computer to sync music from itunes to my Eris. The first step of syncing music from itunes to DT was easy as pie. I literally dl'd DT in less than a minute and a minute later all my itunes songs (not too many actually) were in DT. DT looks almost exactly like itunes, except you buy your songs via Amazon. Anyway, step 2 of getting the music on to the Eris is NOT working. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I'm using Vista, 64 bit, if that makes a difference.
View 3 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone out there know if there is a way we can get a flash down loaded to ur handset for the camera as the photos i take are coming out really dark. shame really because when i take them outside in the daylight, the quality is Very good. if anyone knows i'd sure appreciate a reply.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAs the title says, flash isn't working. Even if I go to here: Adobe Flash showcase for mobile (BETA) and click on a show it won't load. It looks like something is happening, but I can't view anything and after several minutes of waiting I give up. Is this a known problem and is there a solution?
If I go into astro and find com.adobe.flashplayer I click on the launch button and it says activity not found -com.adobe.flashplayer. I have droid w/ bb 0.2.1 running 800Mhz. I haven't added a new kernal or any theme.
I just watching a video on engadget and I said I needed to download flash which I have and downloaded. From the market any ideas.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there any way to get Flash working on a Motorola Droid? I'm new to Android and I'm just wondering
View 1 Replies View RelatedSince the Eris doesn't have a flash is there anyway to take good night/dark photos? All the good "kodak moments" happen at night.
View 32 Replies View RelatedOne of the big things I was looking forward to with 2.1 was full flash support. But, as we should have expected, thats a no go for 1st gen phones. In this article they make mention of the processor architecture being the reason, does this mean that even after root and some hacking it will never work? Or is that just Adobe's excuse? No Flash 10.1 for 1st gen Android phones
View 20 Replies View RelatedI cannot stream any shows or movies (megavideo etc.) Its really disappointing.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI know there have been other threads about the Youtube app no longer working (majority of the time), but it looks like it hasn't been commented on in awhile.SO, I really want to get this phone but won't until I know the bug is fixed. Can you Eris users let me know if your Youtube app is working or not working? (basically by not working I mean, almost every video you try to open you get a message saying: "Sorry, this video cannot be played")Also, does anyone have any logical ideas as to why not EVERY Eris user is affected by this bug?

Probably lots of multiple posts out there for this announcement, but couldn't find any right away: Flash 10.1 snubbing non-ARMv7 Android devices, too? (update: yes) -- Engadget.Seems our underpowered Eris just isn't cut out for all ofthese new developments. Or is it?
View 3 Replies View Relateddoes the eris do flash? i've had many instances where it won't so im guessing it doesn't. but i've heard that adobe is going to release flash for the Droid, does this apply to the eris too?
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo my Eris no matter what player I use will eventually start skipping. It'll also start playing a song skip to another , then another then back to the original and then call my voicemail. Other times when I dont even have a music app open and try to send a text it'll start playing a song. Anyone have any clue what is going on?
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy Eris has some apps that have stopped working. Google Maps & Latitude, Youtube, the Market will not load properly and will either give error messages or won't load at all. Gmail, Voice, Gtalk and the web still work. I have did a couple reboots, pulled the battery, cleared the cache and nothing has helped. Any suggestions short of a factory restore or the Verizon store?
View 11 Replies View RelatedHas anyone noticed in the 2.1 rom we have a lot more flash support! You can load facebook apps and such... seems to run out of memory on some though. Anyone else see the flash enhancements?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI rooted my phone about a month ago and had been running Amon RA's recovery. Today I decided to try out ClockworkMod's recovery because I had heard that it will install packages without a signature. So I flashed the latest Clockwork Recovery. Everything went fine, but when I tried to install any new Roms such as Evil Eris 4.0, nothing happened. It just would reboot into the stock ROM.

View 9 Replies View Relatedi notice when i try to use my phone's "flash player capabilities" that it works like chit. for instance, it won't play videos streamed on justin.tv. and today i tried to go to kings of leon's website so i could listen to their new album from my phone (Kings of Leon | Come Around Sundown) but it failed to work again. i can see all the songs, click on the buttons, even track forward in the songs, but NO SOUND and the songs remain on pause and won't play. is there an update or some kind of APP i can install to where i can actually get some benefit from the flash player.
