I can't future out how to have the led green light flash when i get an sms now only my trackball blinks. Does anyone know how to make the green light flash again?

Has anyone else noticed the little blinking green light? Seems to only be on for NEW gmail. None of my other accounts set it off. Anyone have any info on this for ERIS phone?

View 1 Replies View RelatedHas anybody found a way to make the trackball blink for various other notifications other than SMS and eMail? I use google talk all the time and I would love to have the trackball light blink slowly (just like the normal alert for a waiting SMS message) when I receive a google talk message that I haven't read. Or how about gMail? They light up the notification led blinking green but there is no trackball notification. I'm actually quite surprised there doesn't seem to be any setting I can find to make the trackball blink for various notifications. My phone's already rooted so that should expand my options but I haven't found anybody that's done this yet.

(im dialing a US number)... is there something else I can use.. I dont use google voice because i have an account with skype and most friends of mine do to... are they any work arounds for this?

If I don't clear my notifications of the new text(s) right away, the blinking light kills my battery. I do want to keep the notification on my drop down bar, I just want the blinking light to stop. Is there anyway to do this? I know I can take off the blinking light and drop down bar notification, but I don't want both gone, only the blinking light.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a ListView in my app that has a background image. All of the rows are a semi transparent white (#35FFFFFF). Whenever I scroll the list, the rows turn a light green that obscures the background image until I stop scrolling (usually--sort of unpredictable). Sometimes it flickers between the background image/color and the green. And yes, I have set the cache color hint to #00000000. Any advice about this would be appreciated.

I had to remove my sim card, which means that I had to remove my battery. After doing so, I put my sim card back in, followed by the battery, and after pushing the power button, the battery indicator started flashing green and orange.
The screen isn't turning on, and absolutely nothing is happening.
I've been pouring over google trying to find a solution, but haven't found any that worked.
One suggestion suggested that I hold the power button for 10-15 seconds, then plug it into power, then add battery. This did not work.
Another suggested the opposite- hold power for 10-15 seconds, add battery, then add power cord, still no luck.
I freaking love this phone. I really, really, really want to fix it. If there are any, ANY suggestions as to what I could do to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated. I tried to call HTC for support, but, wouldn't you know it, couldn't get to a phone before EXACTLY one minute before they closed.
Every time I make a call and hang up and put my phone in standby my led light flashes. I am using Missed call app and I just cant figure out why the led light flashes after I make calls.

This is not the LED notification light. This is underneath the ear piece mesh. I've never noticed that before. Has it always been there, and I was just not observant enough? I found several programs in the market but they only seemed concerned with "changing" the color of the light (which does not work) and how fast the light will flash. But none of them had a setting to make the LED flash for say 4 hours after I receive a message unless I check it.
