Anyone know of a way to get the clear widgets addon to work on Aloysius? I just stumbled upon this for another rom, and I am extremely impressed. Also, is there a way to get the circle battery icon in the notification to work for aloysius? I feel with these 2 features added, this rom would be even better!

It doesn't seem to go away for me when I hit clear notfications lol..... IDK why but having notfications on my screen of any phone i've had has bothered me immensly... and I hate checking my voicemail for one message I kno I will be deleting in the 1st 2 seconds of listening too it

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just got to thinking and I realized that I change my layout each week, sometimes more then once in a week. I don't just mean add an icon or widget, i mean change icon appearances with BetterCut, rearrange icons/widgets...add/remove the amount of screens, change background images and lockscreens.....you get the point. so with that being said, how often do you change your eris layout???

I'm not sure if it's doing anything. I even tried turning sync off altogether but it won't go away.
Tried shutting down twice.
On my wife's droid there is either a green circle or an orange clock-like icon near my name in her contacts. Any idea what this is?

Anyone know where I can get one at. Ive searched a lot of other forums and found some for other droids but didn't know if it would work with the X and most of them had to be installed through metamorph.

I really like most of the features included with Aloysius but if EvilEris is noticeably faster I could deal with losing some things. I know its been touched on before but if you have experience with both, could you pease post a quick comparison.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have the official21 Rom that came with the all in one file. I just installed the aloysius Leo Rom and moved it to my root of my SD card. Downloaded it with my Eris. Did the wipe and dalvik wipe then flashed from my SD card but now its saying "aborted. Failed line 2(something like that) any ideas what I'm doing wrong? I'm doing it all from my Eris.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have seen a lot of posts saying that people once they rooted they lost access to some of the apps they had with android 1.5.This is an HTC hero rom that was ported over to the eris that I am running right now. With this rom which is running 2.1 you will get access to the protected apps on the market (the apps that come up missing). Read the known bugs section though. Included is an app that circumvents the power down hang and I actully like using it more then shutting down the phone the convential way hope this helps. People running eris with 2.1 don't have access because it has not been officially released yet. I hit the icon and get a screen of my text messages none are highlighted in bold to say what's unread AND even after opening them all and going back to the home screen the damn green circle is still there. after a while it goes again?any ideas?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have tried several different Froyo Roms over the past very weeks. I still can't get any good battery life out of them compaired to running EE3.0. Yet everyone tells me they get better battery life while running Froyo. My phone has currently been unplugged for 9hrs 13 mins. It has a total of 50 mins talk time and I have sent 30+ text messages. My battery level is @ %73 running EE3.0
I can't get a total of 11hrs out of my phone when running any of the Froyo Roms. Ive tried running several different settings on SetCPU but nothing noticable. Only thing I notice is that when running Froyo the largest use of my battery is my Display. Yet when running EE3.0 the largest use is Cell Standby and Display is the lowest. But I have tried turning the brightness almost all the way down on the Froyo ROM but it doesn't make any difference.
I was wondering if anyone has had the notification icon for weather from Beautiful Widgets disappear? I love the look and animations of the Beautiful Widgets with GDE and I also have the White Hero Theme - looks great. But now there is no Icon for beautiful widgets in the notification bar, even after I switched the setting numerous times.
