I wonder if someone knows where my photos are stored on the sd card .Icant find them anywhere when connected to computer. Iam trying to transfer them on to PC.

I have a bunch of photos that I took with the phone. I stored them on the phone until I discovered they were not going to my SD card. Is there any way to move those photos from phone storage to the sd card ?

When I connect my phone to the computer, I want to put files on the phone and be able to access them. I have Astro File Manager, but when I go all the way to the top level of folders with that, the folders available are.

How do I get the files into any of those folders?
I just installed Astro File Manager, and I can't find where the Eris stores photos taken with the camera. I have a folder called 'Photos' on my SD card, but that only has photos I copied to it from my PC. (so I could use them as wallpaper). When I use the Albums app, it lets me choose the Photos folder on my SD card, or a folder called 'Camera shots' with 29 photos in it (that I took with the Eris camera), but I don't see that folder anywhere with Astro , even when trying a file search.

I've taken these photos with the contacts app, using the camera, and they are the ones that appear when an incoming call is made. However I've searched all the available directories, including the obvious DCIM, albumthumbs, etc, and can't find them anywhere.I want to save them - where are they?!

My phone is rooted and flashed with the JI2 firmware and also loaded with the Captivate camera app. Currently photos and videos are both being put in the Internal SD's "camera" folder under DCIM and I'd like to make videos be saved elsewhere.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI finally switched to the droid after many years with my Iphone because I couldn't take the dropped calls anymore. I am pretty happy happy with the phone although I think it still needs a few updates. One of my biggest issues is how difficult it is to sync mp3's and photos to the droid. I have done plenty of research and the 2 best solutions for a mac seem to be Salling media and doubletwist. Both of these freeze during syncing and have never completed. I Find it really aggravating that there is no similar app to itunes or any easy way to sync.

Photos are uploaded 100% complete but when i go onto Google Photos, the photos are chopped, only top 80-90% are there, the rest is filled with a grey border.

1.How do I set the phone to whenever I take pictures or download music it is saved to the SD card and not the phone memory?
2.How do I transfer photos from my PC to my Phone? I am trying to transfer some pictures to my phone to set as the background.
I spent a considerable time and effort attaching photos to all my 100+ contacts. These photos were crops from larger photos so, stupidly in hindsight, I did not preserve any of them. I would like to copy all my contacts, complete with photos, to another phone. Copying the simple contact info is easy via the Gmail export/import procedure, but that does not copy the attached photos. Is there a simple way of copying contacts complete with photos?

However, thus far, I have received NO PROMPTS when installing anything (apps, pictures, etc) regarding where I would like things to go. Also, I just pulled up "SD Card and Phone Storage" on my device and it says "SD Card- Total Space 1.86GB, Available Space - 1.86GB" (clearly nothing there!)
Why am I never getting prompted with an option to store things (like photos I transfer from my Desktop) to the SC card?

Have had my X10 for a couple of days, and so far so good. Does anyone know how to download photos from my laptop to my phone using the USB cable? I can download music from my pc to my phone. I can download videos from my laptop to my phone. But when I transfer photos, just normal jpegs, when I go to Mediascape and photos, nothing is there? Where do they go on the phone, I cant find any folder that has them in?

If I click on the SD card tab under 'manage applications' and look at a certain app (Astro, eg.), it only shows that 1.5mb is stored on the SD card. I know for certain that Astro is around 3.5mb. I've experienced this with every FroYo ROM I've had.
