HTC Magic :: Way To Transfer Contects From Ms Outlook To Phone?
Jul 13, 2009I recently switched phones from BB 8900 (Javelin) to HTC Magic. Only way to transfer all my contacts that I could figure out was to transfer all my contacts to my MS Outlook, and then from there take all the contacts to my HTC Magic. Everything went perfect, but now the trouble began. Any new contact that I add to the phone gets added to the bottom of my contacts list. The contacts are supposed to be in alphabetical order, but the contacts i got from Outlook always stay on top, and then the new contacts I add are being added to the bottom of my contacts list. HTC Incredible :: Phone Contects Doesn't Update Google Contects
Jun 24, 2010I've noticed that my phone easily downloads my contacts from Google and Face book to my phone. However, when i modify or add a contact to my phone it doesn't update to my Google contacts? This is important since many of us are considering installing other Roms and we want to keep our contacts.

Jul 14, 2010I have made what I think is the mistake of setting up all of my contacts in my Incredible as "phone" contacts. I now understand that these should have been set up as Google contacts so that they will be backed up on my Google account. I do not see a way to edit these contacts to change them from phone to Google. Am I going to have to delete and re-enter all of these contacts as Google contacts to get this done?

Sep 12, 2010Newbie to Androids here, just upgraded from a nokia 2323 (yep, pretty big upgrade). When I connect my phone to the computer, I want to put files on the phone and be able to access them. I have Astro File Manager, but when I go all the way to the top level of folders with that, the folders available are.

Nov 4, 2010I'm a bit concerned my phone is reporting 775 goggle contacts, but goggle says 639. I am about to delete all contacts off my phone and tidy up the ones on goggle by merging duplicates, and then re-import from goggle to my phone... but am reluctant to do this while the phone says i have more goggle contacts that goggle does I have synced a couple times but still the numbers don't match. I have checked and goggle still has not merged contacts so that isn't the reason for the difference either.

May 17, 2010So I just upgrading from a blackberry pearl to the HTC Eris. The Eris came equipped with an 8GB SD card. When i had my blackberry I was using a 2GB SD card. So i took out the 8GB out of the Eris and put in the 2GB to save pics (That kinna stuff.) I didn't take it out and switch for my 8GB. I still have in the 2GB and I want to switch to the 8GB . My Question is, if I switch what will happen to my apps, my contacts, etc. Will i still be able to transfer them to my 8GB?

Dec 11, 2009I just got my Eris today. I am trying to switch my pics and infor from my old Sd card (it was only 256MB) to the new one that came with the phone.
Also I cant seem to save any pics, or at least I cant find them. When I put the old SD in, I can see those ones, just not new ones.
I switched from a G1 to this. So far they seem pretty simliar, this is the only issue I am having. I love how much lighter this phone is. My G1 was way to bulky for me.
