Jun 16, 2013The internal memory of my vega sky racer 770 was getting full so few days back i formatted everything like:-
format data
format emmc
format system
format fotamodem
etc. etc.
After that i flashed it with new version of MIUI 3.6, after installing new version of MIUI, i noticed my phone is running very slow, also not detecting the SIM card but next day it stopped to charging. Now then onward my phone is off.
What i have to do now with my sky vega racer 770-K. How i can turn it in working condition as it was before.
General :: Develop OC'd Kernel For Pantech Vega Racer 2 Phone
Jan 7, 2013I'm trying to develop an OC'd kernel for Pantech vega racer 2 phone. It has the same hardware as HTC Evita.
I was able to overckock it using zarboz' and rohan's work. But the frequence is drops down to stock 1.5 Ghz while the processor is on max load.
For example, I started SetCPU stress test and after few minutes checked max freq. It was dropped down to stock 1.5 Ghz.
The same with Antutu bench. Even with OCing up to 2 Ghz in final resulst it show 1512 Mhz and freqs are dropped down.
Due to the lack of development for this phone, I can't find any examples of OC code especially for this phone.

And I need it to communicate with an arduino - one with FTDI or prolific PL2303 serial interface. Now I know that the Paladin should work as an USB host but I need something more. I need an high level Java library that can use this serial interface. I've worked with rxtx on a desktop machine before and that is the most complicated that I would like to get. The main reason is that I simply don't have enough knowledge to write myself an serial driver. I just need a simple character based two way communication.

Jul 28, 2010Perhaps there is a thread already about this but I discovered today that if you long press on an app and then drag it down to the trash can and then hold it on the trash can for a few seconds a text pops up telling you to let go to uninstall.I have uninstaller, but this is a really handy quick way to uninstall a single app. Hope it helps.This applies only to Launcher Pro, apparently it does not work with stock as stated by the below posters. Sorry about the confusion.

Mar 29, 2010I've looked for other threads about editing Swype's dictionary but have found none, so will ask here: I love using Swype Lite (1.16.12.5228) but have found the dictionary and the little word options popup to be less than helpful. I've tried to add words individually per the instructions saying to add each letter carefully then press the space bar, but the new word doesn't seem to be available the next time. And when I do try to enter 1 letter at a time it automatically adds another letter and spaces to each of the letters I'm trying to tap in. I would love to know if I can access Swype's dictionary through the SD card or wherever, and go in there and edit the shit out of it. Anybody know how, or if it's possible?

Aug 31, 2010I'm looking for an easier way of switching my input method/keyboard rather than digging through the menus. (I'm using a Droid X, btw.) I constantly switch between the standard mutlitouch keyboard and the Korean keyboard 단글한글. Multitouch lets you hold down on one of the corner keys to bring up the input method selection, but any other keyboard seems to require going all the way back into my settings to change it, often forcing me to stop what I'm doing and jump out of the current application. Any recommendations? I've looked up things like Keyboard Widget, or Keyboard Manager, but haven't had any luck. On that note, if there's any devs out there that would want to create such a app...

This seems like a much needed app and apparently it exists just not for the Droid, because I used it with my Blackberry.I just want something easy and simple that I can make my grocery list either on my Eris itself or on my desktop and have it sync up. I hate having to enter everything directly on the phone and would like to see the same notes/tasks on my PC and this also enables me to print them as well. Outlook synced up with my Blackberry and it was just a simple effort to see all my notes right there on Outlook and also on my BB. It seems like everyone is looking for this, so why hasn't it been done? Why does Eris sync up with my Outlook calendar and contacts but not my notes and tasks? Google docs seems just like the name says - docs. I just want notes to be synced to my pc. I currently using Color Notes and Easy Notes to keep stuff on my phone but, again, want it to sync with PC.

If I press Phone, there's no option to choose a group.I can pless People, Groups, <group name>, <contact>, Call mobile. Not exactly quick and easy. I've been using the People widget. It can show 9 contacts, or 3 contacts, from a predefined group, and you can scroll for more. I've had two 3-contact instances on a screen, Favorites and Co-workers. That's all that will fit. But I don't have pictures on any of my contacts anymore. The link to Facebook was just too buggy, so I removed it. So the People widget takes up a lot of space for just 6 names, and I need to scroll it most of the time (actually I can only see 4 of the names when it's scrolled to the top). On one whole screen. I'd like a button that brings up all contacts from a predefined group and lets me click one to call him/her. Or a compact widget that lists just the names in a group and calls when I click. Is there anything like that?

Mar 4, 2010I wanna start out by saying I love my droid but on thing that bugs the crap out of me is the finish on the top of the thing. It looks nice and polished for a few weeks but then it starts to chip like crazy. The screen is holding up perfectly its just the corners of the bezel. I think they should have gone wth a matte or aluminum finish or even the soft finish like on the battery cover.
