Is there ay possibilities to customize the stock caller screen (on Oxygen 2.2.2). E.g.: changing the background from the greyish black to the current wallpaper? Or replace it with the something like in MIUI?

I can post a pic, but its the screen after you hit the call button, the black screen with either default happy face image or the contact image, and the giant red phone bar underneath. I just find it really ugly. Any way to change that without root?

For example, I have a Galaxy Note 2 running Jellybam and every time I turn the power off and plug it to a charger it friezes at the charging screen where there's a turning circle. Therefore, I just want to find away to get rid of the old charging screen and add a new one to try to fix the problem. Where the charging screen files locate in the root and where can I find the custom one to replace it. I've tries Nomoarpower from Chainfire but it seems doesn't work even the system files are installed as after the power is off it always brings me back to the frozen charging screen instead of the new one.

Can anyone direct me to somewhere on how to customize the screens? Also, there are a couple of new icons at the top of my home screen - an "E" inside a circle and after a phone call, I get a green circle in the notification bar.

So far, I'm really digging' the home screens that a lot of you guys have posted on this site, and I'm trying to emulate them but it's a little difficult for me to do. I'd really appreciate it if you guys can lead me to the right direction on which apps and customizations I need to employ to get those similar settings. I'm mainly looking to do 2 things:
1.) get my home screen to have the time, date, and weather widget, while putting my favorite icons around it for this I downloaded Home++ and weather forecast widgets v2. However, I really don't like how the default time and date and bottom icons look that comes with the Home++. A lot of you guys have the screen that looks like the HTC Sense UI. It's awesome! How can I get my droid to look like this???
2.) I'm currently employing the 3 screen setting (which I like). I would like to put a full size calendar on the left screen so that I can flick it over whenever I need to take a look. Is this possible? And is there an app/widget that can do this?
I'd like to be able to customize the view of a Preference Screen, and so I'm interested in knowing how to set a style for it.

View 5 Replies View RelatedSo when i either put my droid in my car mount or i press the "car/home" app, my phone goes into car mode. here i have 2 screens to choose from. the first screen has 6 buttons all with applications in them, the second screen has 6 buttons but only 3 have applications in them. question is, is there a way to customize the other 3 buttons and pit an application in them or am i stuck staring at 3 empty buttons forever?

View 21 Replies View Relatedsorry if this has already been answered, Ive already tried looking but cant find anything on it. is there any app to customize what you want the lock screen to say? i recently had my phone stolen and luckily got it back, but there was no way the person would've automatically known who's phone it was. i know on many phones like my old palm centro i was able to write my own greeting and put who the phone belonged to, who to call if it was lost, where i live, etc. does anyone know how or what app there is that lets you fix this in case the phone is lost again. it would make it a lot easier for whoever found the phone to know who's phone it was so they could return it.

When on a call, the proximity sensor doesnt work, so the screen goes black. And when i press the end call button to turn the screen back on it just ends the call. Is this normal? Or a known issue?

However, when I finish the phone call or take the phone away from my ear... I get the lock screen. Why? Why doesn't the screen just go back on to whatever screen was on before the phone call... like the dial pad. To hang up a phone call, I have to unlock the screen first.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAny way to change how the phone behaves in regards to the screen waking up after ending a Bluetooth phone call? Windows Mobile handled this correctly. Android does the opposite.
For example, I am on a phone call using BT headset, I press the power button and put the phone to sleep, put the phone in my pocket, end the call and the screen wakes up with the dialer open. Guess what happens next.....pocket dialing!
WM would end the call and the screen wouldn't turn on, and even after waking it up it was locked.
BT headsets, voice dialing, but I can't just leave the phone in my pocket?
End call should equal no wake or unlock(no action)

On my previous phone it had a "full lock" feature on it that when a text message or phone call came in it would show all stars on the screen and require my password before you could answer the call or view the text message does the hero have that option or is there an app I can download?
I tried the pattern lock thing it has but if a call comes through or a text message comes through it still allows you to answer and/or view the message without entering the lock pattern..
