add Pandora controls to the notification bar lock screen?
LG-D801?
When I first started using Pandora I was able to pause, forward and rewind from the lock screen.I don't know what happened, but it's not there anymore. How do I get it back?I'm not rooted, using the stock lock screen and launcher pro plus.
View 7 Replies View RelatedCurrently I can have playback controls on the lock screen of my idevices, as you can see in the screenshot below. Pandora is one example on when I would use this. How can do this same thing on my android device? I currently have a Galaxy Tab 2 7" & I'll be getting the GS3 soon.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI almost always listen to Pandora while driving, and at times want to know the artist or song playing. To do this, I have to unlock my screen, which is a bit difficult driving on the freeway. So, basically, is there any way to get Pandora to show on the lock screen? I came up with a couple of solutions, but they aren't ideal:
1) Charge my phone in the car, and thus avoid the lock screen all together by having the screen always on.
2) Use No Lock
This may be a stupid question but I didn't see it in the forum already - I really miss the music controls on the lock screen, which 1.5 and 2.2 had. I'm running KaosFroyo 38 and it doesn't seem to have this - at least not that I can find? Am I missing it in the settings somewhere, or is there an app or widget I can download?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI haven't found a solid answer for this yet. What I want is simple: music controls on the pattern lock screen.I don't want Widgetlocker or another lock screen replacement, which have given me problems and don't seem to be reliable. I just want to be able to pause/play/skip from the pattern lock screen.I am okay with binding physical buttons to this task if that's what it takes.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm hoping for some pointers. I simply want two buttons.. nothing more, to allow me to control my music.I know, I know. "Why not just use the music widget?" Cause it's ugly (in my opinion). With Bettercut, I'm aware that you can create your own shortcut, but you have to have the source code or some sort of.androidaction.blah in order to create it. I'm just curious if I could use that or if there's something out there that's better.I don't need to know the artist or the song that's playing, I just, well, I miss the days of double clicking my home button and hitting next or stop with my iPhone. That's what it boils down to. So, if there's a way to get the music controls on the lock screen... well, that would even be better.Anyone have some suggestions? I have searched and searched for some sort of resolution, but it's been to no avail. Or, I could have just been searching for the wrong thing.
View 6 Replies View RelatedHow to get back my old lock screen notification from 4.1.2 android (I9300XXEMG4)? After flashing to my new Stock ROM 4.3 (I9300XXUGMK6) i got different and so frustrating lock screen! What i must to change in android sistem to get back my old notification circles? I have old ROM extracted in .EXT4 file and mounted into "ext2explore" and all resources from it, also have fully rooted device on my new 4.3 andorid. I tried to replace "OmaDrmPopup.apk, OmaDrmPopup.odex" from old ROM, and also tried to replace "PopupuiReceiver.apk, and PopupuiReceiver.odex" but nothing happend. What .apk is responsable for that lock screen notifications i want? See attached images to understand my problem.
Phone: SGS3 i9300
Current ROM: STOCK I9300XXUGMK6 (android 4.3)
Old ROM: STOCK I9300XXEMG4 (android 4.1.2)
Closest thing I can find is Popup Notifier, but not only does it wake up the device, it leaves a ton of popups when unlocked. I would rather have popups on the lock screen.
View 2 Replies View RelatedOn iPhones the notification is center of the screen in a big graphic. On my LG2 all I get is some tiny icon in the notification bar. Also on teh iPhone the lock screen wakes up to show the voicemail prompt/graphic. On the LG2 teh screen is still dark. So unless I turn on my lock screen, I never know I have a v-mail.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there an app that allows you to pull the notification bar down from the lock screen? I mean this would be nice and when you touched the text from the notification bar, it took you to your text messaging app without haveing to swipe down the lock screen slide.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am new to Samsung Captivate. When my screen is locked i see a series of symbols in the upper right corner. I see the same symbols when I pull down the notification bar, right above where it says "No Notifications" if I don't have any. They are @@@^oe@@ I find it very weird. I have been looking and I can't figure out if I can change those symbols or just get rid of them.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI made the switch from the (surprise) iPhone on the day of release to the Moto Droid. I really do like the phone, but there are 2 consistent quirks that I can't find an answer to after searching Google and many many forums.
1. Lock screen timeout. This one really annoys me for some reason (probably just because I feel like it's a waste of battery life). So I have the screen timeout set for 1 minute, so if I have the phone unlocked, and I don't use it for 1 minute then it locks itself (fine, good). BUT, if I have the phone locked, and I just hit the Home/Lock button on the top of the phone to see the lock screen, WHY does the lock screen stay on for the same amount of time (1 minute) before going off again??? If I don't unlock the phone, I just want that screen to turn off quickly, maybe in 5-10 seconds.
2. Gmail notification. I have 2 gmail accounts (1 for school, 1 personal), and it's the only mail I use or have set up on the phone. All I want to have is a notification of gmail in the taskbar so when I hit the Home/Lock button and see the lock screen, I can tell if I have gmail or not. I DON'T want the LED to blink if I don't check or delete the mail (turning LED gmail notification off). (Having the number of mails would be nice too, either in the taskbar or on the home screen, or optimally, both).
Is there a way to swipe a text message notification on the lock screen to open that message like you could do in Jelly Bean? My messages show up, but when I swipe them, the lock screen slides over to a second page. I tried playing around with some of the lock screen settings, but couldn't figure anything out. Am I missing something completely obvious, or is this somehow not possible to do?
Brand new S4 received yesterday, stock OTA 4.4.2 pushed by Verizon about 5 minutes after my phone was activated.
After playing a bit more, I found that if I swipe to the second lock screen page, then back, if I tap on the message notification it will open, but tapping before that yields nothing.
My phone got a fair bit of water in it and after drying out, it powers up to the HBOOT screen but vol up/down do not work nor does any other button. Curiously enough the phone seems to recognize if I insert the usb plug but my computer says failed to recognize device/load drivers.
This is what the screen says:
INCREDIBLEC XC SHIP S-ON
HBOOT-0.92.0000
MI CROP-0417
TOUCH PANEL-ATMEL224_16ab
RADIO-2.15.10.07.07

<VOL UP> TO to previous item
<VOL DOWN> to next item
<POWER> to select item
FASTBOOT
RECOVERY
CLEAR STORAGE
SIMLOCK
FACTORY RESET
I have a Motorola S10 bluetooth headset for listening to music. It's really nice not having to deal with cords and having controls for play/pause and track forward/back right on the headset.
However recently the controls have stopped working when my screen is off. I can't pause my music or advance track. I hear the 'beep' in my headset indicating that a button has been pressed, but my phone isn't getting or ignoring the command.
To make matters more complicated, it isn't a consistent thing. Occasionally the controls will still work with the phone off. This has been happening for a couple of weeks now and I'm having a very hard time finding any regularity to when it will or won't work. There doesn't seem to be a pattern. I also can't seem to trace it to an specific program that I recently installed.
Is there a way to use quick music controls on the passcode screen, or do i need to swipe in my passcode to get to the player/pandora?
View 11 Replies View RelatedI am plan B and AVG security installed, both don't always work, I have pattern lock on the phone but even in pattern lock mode when i press and hold power button the phone gives me option to shutdown.
If someone steals my phone they will be able to shut it off without unlocking it since holding down power button still works. So is there a way to lock the power button from shutting off phone when the phone is in pattern unlock mode?
Is it possible to lock widgets so that changes cannot be made to the 4.2.2 lock screen?
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe guy that owns this phone told me this came with the ROM he installed on his phone. But is their an app that does this aswell?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am not trying to disable the notification just want to know which application controls it. Does this application come with every android phone? i assume the answer is "yes". correct me if i am wrong.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI want to set my phone to ring only. I don't want any other notifications (text, email, etc.) to make any noise or vibrate. No matter what I do, when I set the Ringer Volume the Notification Volume gets set to the same value.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there any roms out there that have music controls in pull down notification bar? If not someone should make that!
View 7 Replies View RelatedAn app or mod that will use the microphone to sense the amount of noise around you and adjust the notifications accordingly - that is to say when its quiet, next to my bed and I am sleeping I want it to be all quiet sounds - but when I am working and there is fan noises and other stuff that is louder then normal I want the notifications to be loud - but if I walk into the break room which is quiet I want it to be quiet again - or if I am listening to music in a room or car turn up the notifications so I can here them and back down when not. You know take a sound reading and turn up or down the volume of the notification that is happening at that given time.
Only problem being when its in your pocket it will always seem to be quieter then normal so they will be quiet also, so there would need to be something to listen to the sound and determine if its being muffled by a pocket or whatever and turn it up then - if playing a sound and analysing that sound it should be able to determine what environment the phone is in, like a pocket or bag that will make it quieter. I am not even sure if i am describing this properly but I know someone can probably figure it out, but it might have to be something the manufacturer does, like that phone that has 2 microphones to auto cancel out background noises like a bluetooth headset.
A Tasker task that when I'm on the lockscreen, I can tap or double tap to turn the screen off. I've looked in the Tasker tasks and I'm unable to find anything for this. I already use the Nova gesture+ScreenOff app to turn the screen off when I'm unlocked and at the homescreen, which works perfectly. The only thing Nova can't do it turn the screen off from the lockscreen.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIt would end up looking something like the PSP. You would think that this would be an incredible feature for gamers and any platform that was serious about gaming. Then we wouldn't have to use touchscreen controls, barely passable d-pads, or optical trackballs?
View 3 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know if there's a camera app that has "on screen controls" for settings. Specifically i'd like to be able to toggle the flash without having to go back into settings all the time. Just a little flash on/off toggle on the screen, it's such a simple thing, would make life easier but none of the camera apps I've tried have it.
