How can I restore my lost photos from my Android phone ? I just deleted some photos by accident, I need to get them back, some program that work perfect for my Android phone.
Used Vibosoft Card Data Recovery program? I just test it and found it can scan out thousands of photos from my phone, but is not free, any free app.

I own galaxy s4 running stock rooted 4.2.2. What happened Is when I installed 4.2.2, I found that my internal sd card got erased which never happened with me before . Now the question Is CAN I RESTORE MY LOST FILES FROM INTERNAL SD ????

I have a old motorola g3 phone (however it is for verizon ). I can no longer download my photos and videos to my pc. the pc no longer lists it on my cumputer when I plug it in. I do however hear the appropriate sounds it makes when I plug it into my usb.( hardware insert.wav and hardware remove.wav)

View 6 Replies View RelatedI was rooted fine with unrevoked forever. I wanted to try a ROM than required me to install the newest version of hboot so I did that. Well I didn't like that ROM so I tried to flash a nandroid restore but it didn't take. So I reinstalled the pc36img that I used when I rooted my phone. Then I rebooted my phone. Now it booted like its not rooted! I don't have superuser app and when I try to reboot into recovery I get a red triangle over a phone.
When I boot into hboot it says I have s-off but I have no idea how to get my phone back to the way it was. Under system info it says I have firmware version 2.1-update1 but I try to look for a froyo update and it says there are none available. I was going to just unroot with the s-on tool but that requires going into recovery which I can't do. What do I do toget my root back!
Today I went to update my X10. While at work it wouldn't allow me to as it insisted I connected it to a computer. So at home I got the USB cabled hooked up to my Linux Laptop and then discovered it had to be a windows computer. Anyway, I got it hooked to a Windows computer and the update process began. I followed every instruction and set all tickboxes for backup. After unplugging this and plugging it back in and rebooting here and there, it finally reached the restore process. I left it restoring for a while.
When I came back to it, it said something had crashed. I don't know what as I'd just woken from a nap. But, it seems all my applications are restored. Yet my gmail account & facebook account have become disassociated from my phone and all my contacts no longer have any names or pictures. I opened the contacts/phone book and the list is completely empty. I tried to import contacts but it says it cannot find any anywhere. I have work related contacts as well as family & friends and really need to get my contacts back - please advise?
I went onto my gallery earlier and all my photos had gone. I hadn't deleted them myself so any ideas what could of caused this? And any way I can recover the photos I've lost?
View 4 Replies View RelatedAs it says above really. I've rooted to the new Froyo with sense release (seems slow but stable) and all was well until I restored with mybackup pro. Some apps were missing even though they showed as installed and even so, I've got A LOT less internal memory than before and I'm still having to uninstall stuff
I thought Froyo was supposed to let you install apps to SD?
I'm so angry it's hard for me to even type. I upgraded my X10 mini pro to Android 2.1 today and I followed the instructions and the YouTube video EXACTLY step by step.I made a back-up before the update, with the updated Back-up & restore app.Now the Android update is done and i've tried and tried but I can't get my contacts back. Every time I run the restore function of Back-up & restore it tells me the restore is done, but when I go to my contacts list, it's empty.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI have just updated xperia x10 from 1.6 to 2.1 (Rogers) and figured it out that all my applications were lost.Before the update, I installed the last PC Companion Software from SE and made two backups using the backup and restore application.After the update, when I tried to restore using it, there's no market application checkbox. Everything else (contacts, messages..) was restored.The paid applications are shown in the Market Download tab to install, but just that (because they are associated with google account).Nothing more. I lost about +50 apps with their user data.I searched all the net about it, but the only info I found it was that the backup and restore tool just save the application links.How about the user data? I reinstall some of the apps that I had, but no user data. Am I the only one that had this problem? Is there any advanced tool to try to undelete internal memory of the phone?

When I was on stock Xperia Gingerbread 2.3.4 on my ST17i, the average image file size I take is only playing around 300 to 600kb each However, after flashing the MiniCMSandwich Lite AOSP rom, the file sizes have been bumped to an average of 1.3mb. I want to know why? As far as I know, on both stock and MiniCMSandwich, I've set the resolution to the highest (5 megapixels).
Is it a matter of the camera apps? (Xperia camera and stock camera).how big your average file sizes are for 5mp of images.
My wife's Droid 2 recently began to behave badly and make a gear-like squealing sound intermittently during some phone calls. Sometimes one a day -- sometimes every call. When it happened she could always hear it - sometimes the other partly could hear it. The phone is 11 months old and still on warranted.
I took it to the Verizon store and they insisted that they must do a "return to factory setting" and re-setup the phone to see if this fixes the problem. "It will only take 15 minutes" they said. Of course, after those 15 minutes I spent the next 4 hours trying to get it to stop yelling "Droid" at my wife every few minutes when an email, sms, phone call, usb connection etc. happened. I then realized that what I really needed was an application that saved and could restore the phone's basic settings and those of the important apps.
When I looked at the Market and App-Brain I couldn't find such an app. Without root-ing and using Titanium is there such an app that can restore the hundreds of settings that you might have tweaked?
How to restore the stock bootloader on a HTC phone?
I explain: after the root process, made with the Revolutionary tool, the bootloader isn't the same as before: now there are some lines i don't like (especially the one that allows to format the phone only by pressing two or three buttons).
Is there a way to change the bootloader, and back it up, or if i lose the phone, the "volume down-power button trick" could make a new phone?
I tried everything, including a method of mine to set the s-on and using the ruu, but nothing changed.
There are wide set of lost phone recovery apps that track phone's location, send sms etc. But is there an app that works even after Wipe?
Is it even possible to have such kind of an app?
IMHO thiefs definitely wipe phone after stealing it making all recovery apps useless.
Galaxy s2 sgh t989 rooted followed all steps.I ran hc-ktool to backup efs.img and efs.tar.gz. I have not flashed any ROM for fear of turning my s2 into a paper weight. I downloaded root browser from play store to try and look deeper. That is when i noticed my efs folder was empty. I have been scouring my files but feel like a blind man looking for a needle in a haystack.
i still have a good imei and broadband version...everything seems okay. I am reluctant to do anything for fear of bricking. I no longer have lockscreen or power off menu either.Can i reset the phone to factory default and restore my efs? If so, do i have to unroot my phone?
I recently used the USB to charge my phone on the laptop.Next time i went to look in my gallery most of my pics and videos are gone. i also can't find a folder on my computer that contains them. are they gone forever or is there a way to retrieve them?

When I check system / app and the apk is no longer there. Tried to add another account & sync apk apk in but still no account & sync settings show up.
Also noticed that there is no odex files only apk files under the system / app folder.
