Mar 15, 2012We can setup a vnc software or use remote desktop in windows 8 to access it on any android tablet with a vnc software.I have installed windows 8 on my pc and I do not have a touchscreen.I have a 10.1 inch android tablet. I have setup remote desktop on windows 8 and can access my pc's display on my tablet. But it can be used only with the mouse pointer given on screen. When I try to slide my finger on the screen for example, to navigate in the new start screen, instead of scrolling, the display of the screen moves and the blank space appears. This is because the vnc app is designed to work with a pc os that requires mouse.
But since this is windows 8, optimised for touchscreens, I want to use my tablet as the touchscreen monitor for windows 8 to use it as a tablet. I will keep my pc on and access it o n my tablet. Is this possible? Does vnc software for android that supports touch input for windows 8.

I have tried to avoid using them. I know previously I had a couple apps that were sending notifications to the notification system that I considered to be spam. After some research I found out how you can find out which apps are doing it and disable notifications from those apps so that took care of that.

May 21, 2010I have had DC 2.08.1 installed for about 2 weeks with no issues. I decided to go ahead and partition the SD to utilized apps2SD as I was having memory issues. That process, while not smooth, went through okay and the SD card is working with the partition and apps2SD. However, ever since that was completed, my Windows 7 box no longer recognizes the phone either as a phone or as a drive. My Linux laptop recognizes the drive without issue.
Any suggestions on how I can reintroduce my phone to the Windows box, at least as a drive?

Mar 20, 2014I want to install a new rom to my android tablet.There are necessary instructions and files.One of the files are rockchip batch tool v1.5 and other is a disc image file named rom.
It says
1- load the drivers
2-select the img file (rom) in batch tool
3-install it to device by clicking restore.
Is this enough or should i delete the rom that is already loaded in my tablet.Like when we format the old OS in computers?

Jan 30, 2013I'd like to have the Android SDK docs installed on my Nexus 7 so I can RTFM while away from the office. After downloading them using the SDK Manager within Eclipse I've tried copying the guide, reference, and assets directories onto the tablet and accessing the index.html files with Chrome, but the navigation doesn't work properly and things are incredibly slow. (The links within are relative, so they resolve, but it's still unusable.)
I have also not been able to find a PDF file that contains the SDK docs, though you'd think that would be an obvious resource to have around.

Regarding its functionalities, we're talking about an app that collects barcodes through the tablet camera and sends them to our network using our VPN over 3G network.
Mi idea was to wait a few months more and instead of buying the tablets, renew the laptops and buy some W8 tablets and run the application over them and that's where I have a couple of doubts:
1) How can I emulate Android in Windows 7/8?
2) Is there any possibility for the emulator to recognize both the tablet camera and the 3G SIM for communications?
