I am using Apex now and I can change the icons in the drawer and homescreen but when i open the Recents menu or actually go into an app, the icons are still stock (or from applied theme).
Is it possible to change the icons system-wide or is there an app that can at least change the icons in the Recents menu?
My device is rooted running 4.1. .

If I customize all of my alerts for SMS, email, calls, etc., to sounds (no vibrate), and put the phone in vibrate mode, does it replace all of these sounds with vibration? So that there is no sound coming out of the phone? Same with if I put the phone on silent? I would hope you don't have to go in and change the notification settings for each application to vibrate if you want vibrate, right?I've read some stuff that suggested that this could happen, and it doesn't make sense, but I wanted to make sure.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am running Apex Launcher Pro and have started to notice a problem. When I uninstall apps that I have in folders in Apex Launcher Pro, the icons for those apps are not being removed when i uninstall the apps. I uninstalled roughly 30-40 apps not too long ago and they are all still present in my app folders on my desktop. Is there a way to have Apex remove these icons when uninstalling apps? Currently I have to go and test icons to see if the apps are installed or uninstalled in order to test them, which can be quite annoying if you have a large number of apps.
I am running the latest Apex on a Verizon GS3 running Synergy ROM.

I'm modifying a stock ROM for work to have everything setup and ready to go after flashing the tablets (currently we flash and run a setup app) and have run into an issue I can't seem to find an answer to.
I need to be able to set certain system settings, such as "USB Debugging", "Unknown Sources", "Display Timeout", and a few other things.
I presume its one of the files inside the system.img.ext4 but can't find one that has anything like this.
I wanted to change the size of my icons, so that more of them could fit on the screen. So I download LCD Density Modder and Increased the amount to 160. After I booted my phone, my screen got zoomed in instead of decreasing. Now I cant even type up my password cause the numbers can't fit in the screen. I have no access to my phone because my phone is locked. Btw, I have a Samsung Galaxy Fit S5670 (rooted) .

Problem: I have two batteries, default one and Mugen one. Every time I change a battery the phone system time resets.
What I have tried to do: Set "Automatic date & time" and "Automatic time zone" on - No luck. Restar after set on -
Install different NTP server synchronizing app. I am in china, so it could not connect to the server and I get error every time, even after change to chinese NTP server - Still no luck...
Install different GPS synchonizing app, sometimes it work sometimes not and it takes too long to synchronize.
I am currently running Fresh 3.2. I am trying to find out where I can get just the status bar icons, not the full theme. Or a run down on how to change it.

However, I wish to change some of the icons it defaults to when I load them up (particularly the Market icon, which defaults to the Recycle Bin).Is there a way to do this manually? or do I need to download another software from the market? I see some people mentioned "Better Cut" but I'm unsure if that does what I am asking, or if it is just a replacement for Open Home.I'm not too savvy poking around the Android OS at the root.

However, I'd like to have the icon be the app that its actually running. How can I do this? I tried long-pressing the button and selecting "Change Icon" from the menu, but I can only use either the default LP icons or I can pick a picture from the Photo album. They become stock android icons.After some troubleshooting, I noticed that if I open up the [place where all the apps are stored] and long press dragged them to the home screen I want, they will retain the proper icon after reboot.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI changed the default Droid Sans font with Helvetica Neue (which looks gorgeous by the way) and rebooted, worked perfectly. I then decided to change the bold version as well, rebooted, but now I'm stuck at the red Droid eye loading screen over and over again (not the Motorola logo). It just loads for a couple seconds then flashes then repeats. I'm 100% sure I didn't misspell anything and I still have the backups of the fonts in the system folder but how can I now boot into the phone without factory resetting it?
View 3 Replies View RelatedSince upgrading to ICS, I've been curious about the ICS only launchers. I've seen good work from the developer of each, so I have no preference with regard to developer. Then again, for now, Trebuchet, the CM9 launcher, is meeting my needs.
I was using Go Launcher Ex on Gingerbread, but I think it's gotten too bloated. I love how fast CM9 runs on my phone and I don't want to slow it down.
Also, are Apex and Nova just Launcher Pro alikes or do either bring something new to the table?
I have created several folders (Apps, Games, etc.) on my G1 desktop. So my question are:
1) Is there a way of changing the icon of the folders from the dull plain grey one provided? if so how ?
2) Where are those folders created on the system ?
