Though Galaxy S has got the gorgeous Super AMOLED display and good GPU which is capable of 50FPS, I dont see a whole lot of games developed by Premium Game makers (like EA, Game loft). Also, any game playable with Android 2.1 is compatible with Galaxy S or do we need games specifically developed for Galaxy S?

Id just like to know if the new update's going to do the same .. not real keen on losing a great deal of paid apps

My husband has a Samsung Galaxy S and has noticed some applications pre-installed on the phone that he doesn't want.However he can't delete them! They don't appear in his list of applications.He's tried going into applications, menu, edit. But only some of the applications (and not the ones he wants to get rid of) have the red no entry sign.

View 2 Replies View Related I have a Samsung Galaxy Express, which is basically a gimped SIII and ran into some weird slowdown issues. I first noticed with Fast & Furious 6. When I first installed it, it ran smooth. After a few weeks, the game became so choppy it was close to unplayable. I just thought it was a fluke, maybe one of the updates didn't like my phone.
So, after this and other random issues, I did a factory reset. After that I downloaded Injustice, very happy it was finally added for android. Same thing, at first it ran great but after a week or two it started to become choppy. I have cleared all my caches, cleared my ram right before playing by using an app All-in-One Toolbox and I have 2.3 Gigs free space out of 5 Gigs.
The phone runs on Jelly Bean(I think, whatever is 4.1.2) and the model number is SGH-I437. I know there are at least two different Samsung Galaxy Express model numbers so that is why I added that info.
I have a rooted phone (using framaroot) and i tried to move my installed apps and games to my ext sd card (san disk class4 8gb) using link2sd app but it always failed and give an insuffient memory error.. GT-S6312

I have disabled Localization for Google apps and ads and yet when I go into the Store, I keep on getting the message.So after several failed tries, I used App2SD and extracted the .apk into my phone but It wont download showing that it wont find enough resources.

I did change the sim-card (and subsequent number) since first using it, but I never logged intio Kies with the old sim-card.The phone is rooted.How do I get Kies (or my Samsung phone) to show my current telephone number?In the phone properties (Menu, Settings, About, Status) the same wrong number is shown.When calling, the receiver sees the correct telephone number. I have a brand-new SGS GT-I9000 (in Romania),but for now I don't have anymobile internet connection.But I want to install apps on my phone,and I know it's possible with SDK Android.So I installed SDK Android (last version has USB driver included,so I installed it too from SDK) and.I don't know what to do next.First of all, do I need another driver to be installed for my SGS (the drivers for SGS were installed with Kies, I presume)?And then, how do I connect phone in USB mode and , especially, how to use command prompt (I'm a dummy on that thing?? Following are my questions:
1. Right now I have about a thousand google contacts synced to my phone. I want to remove them at one go. I know how to disable them from being appearing in contact list, but I want to know if I can delete them without going to factory settings.
2. I am using three applications (a) Gmail (b) Contacts (3) MVOIP. I want to know if there is a way that following combination works:
a- Google contacts appear on Gmail app
b- Google contacts (with phone numbers) and normal phone contacts appear on "Contacts"
c- Google contacts (with phone numbers) and normal phone contacts appear on "MVOIP application".
I know how to do
(a) - By synchronising google contacts,
(b) - by choosing display options
(c) - I do not know how to handle this and I want help.
I recently got myself a Motorola Droid X and my wife the Samsung Galaxy S. I can install apps on the Motorola until my heart is content but they fail on the Galaxy. It goes through the motions of downloading and then throws an error that the dowload failed. It does not give a reason for the failure. Is this phone modified by Verizon not to allow apps or did I get a bad phone?

View 2 Replies View RelatedBig problem, I was using my phone and it ended up crashing and stalling. Took phone battery out and put back in to restart the unit. Now on startup it shows me the galaxy s gt1m900 scrren, then turns off. If the power is plugged in, it will loop continiously. No clue how to get it back up and running, I did manage to get to the "downloading - do not turn off phone" screen but thats as different of a result i could get..

I have Gmail already on my phone and it works perfectly, but every time I try to do updates it says the same thing.
