HTC Incredible :: Way To Get Rid Of Unread Messages Counts?
Jun 2, 2010I'm using chompsms and turned off notifications in the default sms app but still get unread message counts. is there any way to get rid of that?

General :: MissedIT - AquaMail Correct Unread Counts
Oct 11, 2013Getting MissedIT! to display the correct unread count for AquaMail? I'm running Nova Launcher on my gorgeous Galaxy Note 3, and also have TeslaUnread installed. While TeslaUnread will correctly display AquaMail unread counts, it doesn't support the display WhatsApp unread counts. MissedIT! will do both, but for the life of me I can't get a true unread count in AquaMail.

Jun 28, 2010Just noticed this within the last week or so. My unread count in the little green bubble for my email inboxes are off. It will have one number before I open my inbox and then another unread count within the app (before downloading any new emails). It then updates itself when I exit the messages app. Do you think it might have something to do with too many widgets on my homescreen? I don't have anything major...1x1 more icons, 1x4 smooth calendar, vibrate toggle, htc clock. Anyone else have this issue?

May 25, 2010both get mail all day long and generally its very good about it. here lately it has sucked, hard. Looking at the accounts will show unread messages, the inbox itself will show unread messages via the counter but there are no messages to click on. Log into google on the web and there they are, as I delete them the message counter counts down but still never shows the emails on the phone. This seems to happen in the mornings. Restarting the phone does nothing. Running BB V1 No aftermarket email apps installed.

Jun 18, 2010I added my gmail account to my EVO and when I check all of my messages on my desktop, shouldn't the EVO sync and have them marked as read? In my case they remain "unread" until I go through message. Is this normal? If it is, is there any way around this? If it's not normal, how do I go about making sure it syncs?

Jun 28, 2010I've searched all over and cannot find a way to mark Read SMS text messages as Unread. I get lots of texts and sometimes don't want to address specific ones until later. On my BB and other phones, I could mark as Unread, so it would stand out later when I could deal with them. There doesn't seem to be an option in the initial menus for texts.

May 30, 2013I connected my iPad to iTunes the other day, I learned I had a lot of space being used up in the 'Other files' tab and learned it's related to unused Cache information and stuff, and other corrupted files etc, and the way to get rid of it was to backup my iPad, restore it and put the backup back on the iPad - which worked.So I decided to connect my phone to my PC for the first time in a long while to find a similar problem on my phone, but would it be a similar issue? iTunes has an Apps tab unlike Android so I'm not sure if it would be space used by them, or the same problem as the iPad.
Furthermore, if I'm going to do the backup then restore thing, how do I backup my phone?

Nov 24, 2009I was wondering if there was a way to sync back information about how many times you listened to a song, to itunes on my computer. Im huge on the smart playlists, especially having my top 50 most listened to. It bothers me if I listen to a song a ton, and it doesn't climb up in the rankings.
I saw on some site that maybe using TuneWiki (which is what I already use), then linking to last.fm might enable to do this. But how? I saw something about a scrobbler that would help, but I don't get what I would do. Put a scrobbler app on the comp as last.fm is offering, or find a scrobbler app for my phone in order to sync that with itunes?
Android :: Launcher Pro - New Voicemail And Mail Counts
Aug 4, 2010I called my phone, left a voice message, asked someone to send me a text message and I e-mailed myself at my Exchange address.
Only the Launcher Pro icons for Phone (Missed Calls) and Messages have a count indicator of a "1" in a red circle. The Voicemail and Exchange New Message counts aren't appearing in the Dock.
I even added a Shortcut to my Exchange mail account to the Home screen and it doesn't have a count either. Those all work under Sense.

I was wondering if it is possible that when I swipe to clear a notification (in particular messages, I used GO SMS for text messages and Whatsapp) that it counts as a 'read' message. At the moment it just removes it from the notification bar although the message is still unread.

May 21, 2010I did a search on this and didn't come up with any hits for the inc.If I want to send a long message (over 160 characters) I use to be able to send as mms on my bb and it would not break the message up into seperate messages like it did on regular sms.How do I do this on the Inc? I looked for a mms option when texting and didn't find one. I am using Handcent and shapewriter for a keyboard, but also looked on the stock messaging app and didn't see one there either.
