Jun 28, 2010My phone keeps telling my i have 2 unread text messages but every time i check i only have one. does anybody know why it does that?

May 25, 2010both get mail all day long and generally its very good about it. here lately it has sucked, hard. Looking at the accounts will show unread messages, the inbox itself will show unread messages via the counter but there are no messages to click on. Log into google on the web and there they are, as I delete them the message counter counts down but still never shows the emails on the phone. This seems to happen in the mornings. Restarting the phone does nothing. Running BB V1 No aftermarket email apps installed.

May 28, 2010I am looking for an APP that will beep or vibe me when I fail to check a text message, e-mail or miss a phone call. I get some calls and texts and then if I do not answer them right away, I would like an alert. As it is right now, I get one alert or beep and that is it.

Jun 18, 2010I added my gmail account to my EVO and when I check all of my messages on my desktop, shouldn't the EVO sync and have them marked as read? In my case they remain "unread" until I go through message. Is this normal? If it is, is there any way around this? If it's not normal, how do I go about making sure it syncs?

Jul 3, 2010This may be a dumb question, but my SD card is 8GB (same as the internal storage on the phone). When I plug into my PC, it shows two removable storage items. How do I know which one is the phone and which one is the SD card? Is the phone the one with all of the pre-loaded pics and such? Or does that info get moved to the SD card once its formated?

Jun 28, 2010Just noticed this within the last week or so. My unread count in the little green bubble for my email inboxes are off. It will have one number before I open my inbox and then another unread count within the app (before downloading any new emails). It then updates itself when I exit the messages app. Do you think it might have something to do with too many widgets on my homescreen? I don't have anything major...1x1 more icons, 1x4 smooth calendar, vibrate toggle, htc clock. Anyone else have this issue?

Aug 12, 2010My clock always gets delayed. I always have to connect to the network or wifi to get a time update, it gets delayed 2 or 3 times a day. some times even after a time update it pushes back the time for 5 minutes more or less. I'm thinking if I don't update 2 or more time a day, in a week my clock would be delayed by an hour or so.

Motorola Droid :: Apps Keep Telling - Insufficient Space?
Apr 28, 2010My Droid is stock 2.1, rooted with P3 1000 kernel. I have had the issues with stock kernel as well.
Basically, some apps keep telling me I have insufficient space available when I try to update them. The main culprits are Shopper, Space Physics, and NESoid. Sometimes, uninstalling/reinstalling works, but the latest updates of Space Physics and Shopper keep telling me insufficient space. Settings, Memory says I have 91.54 MB of internal space left. Also, uninstalling and doing Titanium restores dont seem to work either...but just for those apps.
Motorola Droid :: Visual Voicemail Keeps Telling Me It Can't Connect / Why Is So?
Nov 12, 2009I keep getting notifications about every half hour that Verizon's Visual Voicemail is unable to establish a connection. Then it tells me that it is likely only temporary and to check back later. Is there a problem? How often does it check? I have not gotten any voicemails, so I don't know whether it is actually working.
Edit: it also tells me it can't sync. I had to turn wifi off, but even then it gave these same messages.
Android :: Market Keep Telling Me Of Update When I Uninstall App / Stop It?
Jun 20, 2010Recently there was an updated version of Android Terminal Emulator by Jack Palevich, the free one from Market. But I was unable to install it as it always prompt me "Insufficient Memory". I've more than 100MB free internal memory (using App2sd) and over 5GB free on my SDcard. But it just refuse to let me install. So I tried downloading the apk too and install it using a root manager, but the installation also failed.
So I decided to give up on the app and remove the app. But yet Market still prompts me for an update (and my phone refuse to let me install it). I done a search on "jack" using my root manager to delete all files related with the app and even clear up all apps cache... but still Market prompts me!
What should I do to either:
1. Get this app to install successfully
or
2. Remove this app "cleanly"
or
3. Stop Market from showing me an "Update" for this app when it's already not in my phone?

Ever since I updated the new software this morning I keep getting these notifications when I send a text and it's driving me up the wall! I have been trying all day to get rid of it but I can't seem to find a way to do so.

Nov 23, 2009I was surprised that I really couldn't find much on this, but I can't be the only one with the problem. My Droid Eris is sending blank text messages repeatedly. Is the phone faulty or is there some setting that I can change. I downloaded ChompSMS hoping that would fix it, but it doesn't appear to. When I open my text messaging program, many times it will send a blank text to the last person I texted. The other day, I turned the phone off and turned it back on and it sent a blank text at the exact time I turned it on.

Jan 3, 2010So, this is a minor but VERY annoying problem on my Eris. I have a notification that is ALWAYS SHOWING!! It is a little black and white envelope. It is labeled "New Message(s)". It has the subtext, "You have an unread message".If I slide my Notifications down, and click the notification, it brings me to the HTC Message list. All of my messages are marked as read, so I dont know why the icon is still there.If I get a text, a totally separate icon, which is also a black and white envelope, but has a green circle with a number inside it showing how many unread messages I have. If I bring the Notifications down, and click the problematic Notification, "the first one I mentioned", the second said icon will go away, and the original will NOT go away. I can click "Clear Notifications" and it will go away till I get a new message, and then the problem is back.

So I can read and/or delete the e-mail on my computer and it still keeps it as in my inbox and unread on the phone. Thus, the phone can say I show 200 unread emails even though I've read them all. Is there a way to fix this or change the settings?
