My hubby works shifts 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off and he used to have a shift calender on i phone which was perfect, however we both have desire now and i'm trying to find a similar one. Ideally one where days are one color nights are another and days off either neutral or another color.

Is it me or you fellow incredible owners as well? And also notice when im about to send a text sometime it highlight the send button even tho I didn't press it. Hope they fix this issue soon its kind of annoying.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI was listening to the En gadget pod cast and Josh Topology said that he was getting an i Pad because was he looking forward to what it could do once it was jail-broken. Josh is a pretty big fan of Apple products, and he wants to jail-break his new i Pad... I went back to stock in anticipation of the update, and when it didn't happen, I went right back to root and ROM. I know there are guys who are tired of hearing about the rooting, but seriously, how many of us on the forum are pretty much just fine without official updates? I LOVE my droid right now with ROM, Beautiful Widgets, and Helix Launcher. I know that hacking and working around software restrictions have always been around, but it seems like things might have changed with the Internet, and especially forums like this one. You don't have to go to the big boys for their releases anymore, instead of Mac v PC. Maybe more and more users will start expecting their software to come from any number of smaller dev's, with more frequent updates and customization. Just an observation.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have got quite a lot of calenders on Google, some are shared with other people some are shared with my from other people and they all sync to my phone except for one of the most important ones which is on my Calender on the pc and the Google site but not on my phone.
I had the owner unshare it with me and then re share it but this has not worked. does anybody know how i can sort this? it is really important that i have that i can see it on my phone.
What do you guys prefer for a calender widget? Ive tried a few havent really liked any so far. I just want a simple view of the month with stuff Ive added onto my gmail account. Ive tried the agenda one but it just displays the event not a month view. Ive tried the calender pad but the text on the month view is confusing.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI thought I understood that there was no capability to sync with Outlook via the USB cable so I imported all my contacts and my calendar to gmail and that worked fairly well. Except for contact updates being a pain.
The I discovered HTC Sync and installed that. The result was duplicate calendar entries and some, but not all, contact duplicates on the phone.
I deleted the duplicate contacts and re-sync'd so it removed those contacts from Outlook. Luckily I had just backed up my PST file so I was able to get them back.
How to delete all contacts and calender entries from the phone so I can try again.

I am writing a simple calculator application(using absolute layout with 3 edit boxes and some buttons), which has two inputtext boxes and a output box.

now once user enters some numerics into input1 and presses '+', now i want to shift the focus from input1 to input2. How can i do that?

Is there a soft keyboard out that has alt, ctrl, tab, shift, and a pipe?
It would also need multitouch and/or some sticky keys option to be able to utilize them. (like being able to press ctrl+k)
I don't care about swype or any "super awesome" keyboard with gigantic keys. I'll deal with typos if it means I can keep my evo and still get around in shells remotely without having to carry around a bluetooth keyboard (whenever cyanogen or somebody gets BT HID working).
I don't care about auto correction. I don't care about text prediction. I don't care if you can put a Hello Kitty theme on it. I don't even care if you're forced to use a Hello Kitty them to use it. I just want a keyboard that works as a full keyboard.

View 5 Replies View RelatedFollowing suggestions on this forum I've downloaded the HTC_IME keyboard. It looks great, except for one problem. It's TINY!!! On my X10 the keyboard appears at the bottom left of the screen with lots of empty space to the right of it. It's so tiny that I can't read the "shift" characters on each key. Any ideas how to make it fit the screen like all the other keyboards do?
View 24 Replies View RelatedSince I updated my software the other day, when I type a text message in the native program I cannot use the Shift (up arrow key) when the phone is vertical. When I flip it horizontal the shift key works, but then the ABC to # key no longer works. Does anyone else have this problem? Verizon's only advice was to pull the battery out...of course did nothing.

View 7 Replies View RelatedFor the past week or so I've been having issues with the bottom left corner of my touch screen (in portrait). If I am typing a text I cant select the letter Z or the shift/caps key. I also have a hard time selecting shortcuts in that corner. I am running the 1st 2.1 leak if that makes any difference. Is anyone experiencing touchscreen issues that may have any solutions or should I get a replacement? Does anyone think the OTA might fix this? BTW, I've calibrated my phone several times to no avail. It also happens in landscape but it shifts to the bottom right corner of course!

I have (2) events coming up within the next two days but it shows the second or later one vs the next one. For example, today is "eat lunch at school with my daughter". On Thursday, it's "eat lunch at school with my son". The widget isn't showing today's event, which IMO, it should.Also, for Thursday's event (today is Tuesday), it says:
"Tomorrow, 12-12:30, lunch."

I didn't realize that the "alarm", is a barely audible "ting" sound, only discernible in a silent environment. Initially when I added the Calender as a Widget to my home screen, there is a little open window showing my next appointment(s) for the day or next day. However, I accidentally trashed it and when I tried to add it back to my home screen again, I am unable to get the same and the Calender merely appears as a little icon. The calendar widget is frustrating me. I enter details about an upcoming meeting, hit save and the event appears. About 20 seconds later it disappears without me doing anything. I figured I would try to delete the app and reinstall it but when I go to settings/app/manage app and try to delete it, the "delete" function is grayed out. Any suggestions?

For example, if I put someones bday on july 14th and look at that same day the next year, it shows their bday on the 13th. I tried this on my Aria and on my friends Incredible and Evo. So what gives, is there a fix for this. I've tried downloading several calender apps, but they always just have a different layout and different functions, but in the end they just end up doing the exact same thing.

I was looking through my calender and saw a birthday of some guy that was synced to my calender through facebook. I couldn't recognise the name so I looked up my facebook friend list and couldn't find this guy listed. I also searched his name on facebook and google and still no luck.
I have established that it is coming from facebook since when I disable the facebook calender, the contact goes away but I am now getting a bit worried since I have some unknown person who is untracable linked to me in some way.
Does anyone have any idea what is happening? and if so how to fix it? and if not able to fix it, how concerned should I be?
