Android :: Calender Windows Not Working On HomeScreen?

I just bought the Motorola Milestone for about a week. Initially when I added the Calender as a Widget to my home screen, there is a little open window showing my next appointment(s) for the day or next day. However, I accidentally trashed it and when I tried to add it back to my home screen again, I am unable to get the same and the Calender merely appears as a little icon. Is there any particular setting that I may have missed out?

My home screen button stopped working. When I push the Home button, nothing happens except for a quick flash on the screen. I have turned it on and off, anything else I can do?

I have a problem getting the Android SDK to work on my new Windows 7 computer. The ADT plugin in Eclipse will not open, when I run SDK setup.exe I do get a window, but settings wont get saved and the app disappears. When I click 'New' in the virtual devices pane. When I run android.bat from a command prompt I get the following error:

-snip- I have a dutch install of windows 7 where the users directory is named differently and already tried to change the HOMEPATH, APPDATA, LOCALAPPDATA and USERPROFILE paths in the registry to the dutch version of the directory. Which didn't work either.
Eclipse version: GALILEO (Eclipse IDE for Java Developers Build id: 20090920-1017)
Android SDK version: Android SDK R3 windows (I tried previous sdk versions. Same problem) Windows 7 Home Premium.

I'm using a Windows 8 Pro and somehow my fastboot usb isn't working. It installed Android 1.0, but nothing happened after that. I can't flash any kernel with this. Everytime I go fastboot, there's no usb indication, but when I press volume button up or down it states fastboot usb but still can't flash anything.

On my brand new Windows 7 machine, I downloaded Eclipse (Galileo) and several Eclipse plugins (Android's ADT plugin, Subclipse, etc.) After rebooting, neither of these plugins are showing up in the IDE (nothing in the preferences, menus, etc.) but if I click "Installation Details" in the 'About Eclipse' popup, I see all of the plugins listed as Installed Software. (ex. Android DDMS 0.9.5, Subclipse 1.6.5, etc.) How do I get my plugins to work?

What is this "PC mode" that comes up as an option when you plug into a computer? Does it do something in windows? I run Ubuntu and it does nothing when I select it. The manual doesn't mention it, at least not the PDF I downloaded. It covers mass storage and windows media sync but not PC Mode.

i cant wait to get my Xperia upgraded to 2.1! i have one issue though. i only have access to a work PC with XP but no admin account (big corp, so no chance of getting it temporarily) or my housemates Mac. my girlfriend has a laptop but she wont be home until next weekend are there any non-windows/non-admin methods of upgrading?

I have had DC 2.08.1 installed for about 2 weeks with no issues. I decided to go ahead and partition the SD to utilized apps2SD as I was having memory issues. That process, while not smooth, went through okay and the SD card is working with the partition and apps2SD. However, ever since that was completed, my Windows 7 box no longer recognizes the phone either as a phone or as a drive. My Linux laptop recognizes the drive without issue.
Any suggestions on how I can reintroduce my phone to the Windows box, at least as a drive?

My hubby works shifts 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off and he used to have a shift calender on i phone which was perfect, however we both have desire now and i'm trying to find a similar one. Ideally one where days are one color nights are another and days off either neutral or another color.

I have the HTC calender widget that's sync'd with my Google calender. I have (2) events coming up within the next two days but it shows the second or later one vs the next one. For example, today is "eat lunch at school with my daughter". On Thursday, it's "eat lunch at school with my son". The widget isn't showing today's event, which IMO, it should.Also, for Thursday's event (today is Tuesday), it says:
"Tomorrow, 12-12:30, lunch."
Tomorrow is Wednesday, not Thursday.Anyone else seen issues like this ? If so, were you able to solve them?My phone is an HTC Eris, on VZW, running Android 1.5.

The Droid's calender is just fine for tracking appointments and jogger notes. I didn't realize that the "alarm", is a barely audible "ting" sound, only discernible in a silent environment. Is there an app that will add a LOUD alarm (choice of my current ring-tones), so I can actually be notified of pre-set calender activity?

The calendar widget is frustrating me. I enter details about an upcoming meeting, hit save and the event appears. About 20 seconds later it disappears without me doing anything. I figured I would try to delete the app and reinstall it but when I go to settings/app/manage app and try to delete it, the "delete" function is grayed out. Any suggestions?

I'm sure there is a thread on this, but I didn't see one, sorry if there is. The issue I'm having is all the dates carrying over each year. For example, if I put someones bday on july 14th and look at that same day the next year, it shows their bday on the 13th. I tried this on my Aria and on my friends Incredible and Evo. So what gives, is there a fix for this. I've tried downloading several calender apps, but they always just have a different layout and different functions, but in the end they just end up doing the exact same thing.

I have got quite a lot of calenders on Google, some are shared with other people some are shared with my from other people and they all sync to my phone except for one of the most important ones which is on my Calender on the pc and the Google site but not on my phone.
I had the owner unshare it with me and then re share it but this has not worked. does anybody know how i can sort this? it is really important that i have that i can see it on my phone.

I'm new to forums, here is my question: I recently got an HTC Desire. I was looking through my calender and saw a birthday of some guy that was synced to my calender through facebook. I couldn't recognise the name so I looked up my facebook friend list and couldn't find this guy listed. I also searched his name on facebook and google and still no luck.
I have established that it is coming from facebook since when I disable the facebook calender, the contact goes away but I am now getting a bit worried since I have some unknown person who is untracable linked to me in some way.
Does anyone have any idea what is happening? and if so how to fix it? and if not able to fix it, how concerned should I be?

My Google Calender is great being a calender but I have added Tasks and they do not show up on my pc desktop and phone on the Calender itself except on their actual Web. I see I can access them seperately by using an App called gtask but wondered if there is a way I can set it up so I can see my events and tasks all together on one calander. Hope this makes sense lol.

I have the EVO and I added the Facebook application. It added every single Facebook friend's birthday. I don't want these on my phone calender and when I go to Menu, there is no Delete option for these birthdays! I can only edit/delete birthday's I added myself on the phone!
