I entered an appointment time of 4 on my PC, but on my phone it says 2.
I've got my PC set to mountain time, and I guess my phone to use current time here too. What's up?

Being able to store all my upcoming work schedule, birthdays, and several appointments is one of the most valuable things that I use my Dinc for. However, I have some issues with my calender. When ever I open calender and do a search (example: "dentist apt") the search always shows the appointment or event as being one day before it is actually scheduled. When I go to day view or agenda it then shows the correct date. I thought that this was a problem specific to my Dinc, however yesterday I was at a VZ store and tested this on a dinc in the store and the same thing happened. Does anyone know why this happens and if this is just a bug or it is meant to do this? Thanks
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have got quite a lot of calenders on Google, some are shared with other people some are shared with my from other people and they all sync to my phone except for one of the most important ones which is on my Calender on the pc and the Google site but not on my phone.
I had the owner unshare it with me and then re share it but this has not worked. does anybody know how i can sort this? it is really important that i have that i can see it on my phone.
I have a nokia E71 and will be getting my Desire 8182 soon. i am on the ATT network in north america my questions are 1. what is the easiest way to transfer all the google calender entries to the new HTC Desire 2. Contacts and phone numbers trasnfer to desire?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI thought I understood that there was no capability to sync with Outlook via the USB cable so I imported all my contacts and my calendar to gmail and that worked fairly well. Except for contact updates being a pain.
The I discovered HTC Sync and installed that. The result was duplicate calendar entries and some, but not all, contact duplicates on the phone.
I deleted the duplicate contacts and re-sync'd so it removed those contacts from Outlook. Luckily I had just backed up my PST file so I was able to get them back.
How to delete all contacts and calender entries from the phone so I can try again.
We've been having some issues with syncing between Google calendar and the Droid Xs. We would delete an appointment in Google calendar (on the browser), and it would disappear on that, but it would still appear on the Droid Xs. I would delete it on my phone, but it wouldn't go away on my wife's (she subscribes to my calendar, read-only), and the within a few seconds of deleting it on mine, the appointment would reappear on mine. Any ideas? Where do I go on the phone to look at when the phone syncs with google's server?

In 2.1, you could bring up the appointment, hit menu, and select edit appointment. I do not see that option in 2.2, and when I need to change an appointment, I end up having to delete it and inputting a completely new appointment. Not really a big deal, but if a meeting time changes, it would be a lot easier to just change the time instead of creating a whole new appointment and deleting the original...
I tend to either make or receive calls that end in me needing to make an appointment for that caller. Does anyone know if there is an app that handles that in a neat fashion.I'm just 24 hours into Android and although there are many things that are very different for me coming from years of winmo, I'm enjoying it.

My calender sync seems to have stopped. My company relies on Google Apps for our business communications, and normally everything works as expected. This morning, changes to my calender are no longer syncing from the cloud to my Droid. Interestingly enough, if I enter a new event on the Droid, it syncs to the cloud.
View 11 Replies View RelatedMy Google calender has synced with no problems. The monthly view shows each day white and the days with appointments show what looks like a green slider. However one day, this past Monday is gray. I have looked at my main Google calender and there is nothing different for this day then other days through the month. I am able to click on the gray day on both the main calender and on the Droid and it will open up. Does anyone else have something like this?

I see I can access them seperately by using an App called gtask but wondered if there is a way I can set it up so I can see my events and tasks all together on one calander. so I just convinced my boss that we should switch from our costly Ms exchange solution to google apps, as it can do all the same stuff we need and more. We all have Android phones and I have set up my HTC Desire (Android 2.2 sense UI) to sync with my google apps account, no problem.However my boss have the Motorola Milestone, and his android version just won�t sync with his google account. Every time I try adding a google account with his mail address (name@ourdomain.dk), I just get a �no network connection� error. But I can browse internet and youtube just fine.I have searched the forums, and it seems other people can add their google apps accounts just fine, while some have problems.

Is there any way to see more than one appointment without opening up the full calendar? You would think if you have multiple appointments in a day that you'd be able to flip through them from the widget, but you can't from what I can tell.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI use Outlook/Exchange as my primary contact database, so I only wanted to sync my DX with Exchange for contacts. However, before I was able to get to my Google account settings on the X to tell it not to sync Google contacts - it had already synced them. Now, my contacts are a mess because of the damn "linked profiles", so practically every contact has some trash from my unmanaged Google contacts. Old email addresses, dupes, mislabled phone numbers (work, home, etc.) It's ugly and frustrating, since I keep my Exchange contacts perfectly edited and managed.
My problem is that I can't figure out how to delete the Google contacts from my DX other than doing it one at a time. (Since I have over 1500 contacts, that would be a huge pain.) Is there any way I can purge these? I'm a power Gmail user, so I can't just delete the entire Google account. (Not sure that's possible anyway.)
My hubby works shifts 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off and he used to have a shift calender on i phone which was perfect, however we both have desire now and i'm trying to find a similar one. Ideally one where days are one color nights are another and days off either neutral or another color.

During the day I am in and out of my contacts constantly and I am unlocking my phone too much! I just want it to lock after a preset time, not every time the device is turned off.
How can I use the phone and pull up email at the same time? When I tried to maintain a phone call and review and email, I got an error message. I don't recall the exact message but it was something about having to use wi-fi....maybe. Is it possible to use the Internet and phone at the same time?

When turning it off, it would alert you it would be turning back on at your alarm time to wake you and would do exactly that. Stock app doesn't do that. I've searched and gone through market apps descriptions looking for this function. At the least I want the alarm to go off when the phones turned off. I don't need it to notify me when its turning on, when its shutting down.

I seemed to get a good sync at first, but now when I add a new appointment on the phone, it doesn't get back into Outlook. If I add something on the PC in Outlook, it gets pushed to the phone just fine. I cannot get anything to go from phone to PC, however.
