Android :: Facebook Notifications Page NOT Refreshing / Fix It?
Jan 11, 2010Is anyone else finding that their Facebook notifications page will NOT refresh?
Mine has been stuck since Jan 6 (only that page) and g I can just go to the website, it's downright annoying.

Sep 15, 2010the Facebook for android apps of the htc desire is not receiving notifications. When i refresh the page of the notifications, a error will occur. All the rest can be used except for the notifications. Anyone has the same problems? or if you know the solution kindly help.

Feb 11, 2010I spent an hour linking all my mates to their facebook profiles partly so I could have pictures associated with them. However, I accidentally removed my facebook account which reset them all. As it had synced with Google already, I just resynced the links back to my phone, no problems.However, now all the photos have disappeared and short of unlinking and relinking anyone (which will take a long time...), is there a quicker way to refresh their photos?

May 9, 2010Who else is getting the error " [Malformed JSON] when trying to open the news feed in the Facebook app? Mine has been working on and off the past couple days, yet my girlfriends droid has been fine. I dont think its an isolated incident, because if you look at the comments other people are getting this error. I have tried logging out and back in, unstalling and reinstalling, rebooting phone, etc.

Apr 23, 2010The Facebook application that came loaded on my Droid has been working fine for 2 months. This afternoon, at first I couldn't access anything that had posted since this morning. Now I can't get anything at all. I keep getting an error message: "102/Session Key invalid or no longer valid" And it even happens when I try to go to my profile!

Sep 25, 2010I was having issues with ringtones and notifications, they just weren't working after 2.2. I was getting the wrong ringtone for certain people and no notification ringtones at all. So today I go into ringdroid to edit some of the ringtones and now ringdroid wont work. I click to edit a tone and I get error reading file on any file i click on. 2.2 is REALLY annoying me about now!! I'm thinking of doing a factory reset. Anyone else having issues with ringdroid?

Dec 9, 2009when I get notifications from Facebook, it does the usual, notification bar, pull down, take me to the browser deal. Is there a way I can set it to take me to the touch site or the app instead? I prefer the interfaces on those better than the lackluster mobile site.

One of the things that bugs me tho, (coming from the iPhone which had that ability) is that the Facebook app, don't show any notifications, and that is something I'd really want. Nov 14, 2010I haven't been using the Facebook app since the version 1.3.2 battery issue, but I've noticed that recently it's been updated to 1.4.1. So I thought I'd give it another try, and they seem to have fixed the battery issue which is great, but I'm now missing notifications (i.e. when you tap the blue bar at the bottom you get a list of comments people have made either after your comments, or on your photos and things). For example, this morning I had 8 notifications on the app, but when I checked the mobile site there were two that hadn't pushed through to the facebook app. Anyone else get this? I have the feeling I'm missing a really simple setting somewhere.

I have checked the settings and i have ticked all the options but nothing.

Sep 2, 2010Checked the recommended threads when I started to post this, didn't see anything similar...
My Facebook app on my HTC Evo was working fine until about a week ago, when suddenly I started getting this error message:
"Cannot retrieve the notifications. Please try again later. [601/Parser Error: Unexpected "-" at position 64.]"
Any suggestions for a fix? I've tried logging out and back in, and I can't figure out how to reinstall the app (uninstall option isn't available on the app settings screen).

Jun 7, 2010So my new incredible doesn't update like my blackberry did. I checked the settings and the notifications are selected, but nothing comes through. When I open the app and goto the home screen and then notifications, I have to force a refresh to see my responses, etc.
