Mar 20, 2009

I meet some problem while using cupcake bluetooth handsfree.

1. Phone only can pair with pin "0000" BT headset automatically, but never pair succeed with headset with pin "1234" (never prompt pin code dialog for input?)

2. Connecting BT headset always fail if the BT headset only suport HFP/ HSP profile(on A2DP). Any one familiar it?

I'd like a bluetooth handsfree set that has an easy charging solution (doesn't need to carry a bulky charger with me), good sound and easy to wear. I'd take suggestions to both for music use (both ears) and phone use.had a jawbone-handsfree set before, but it was a victim of small size and crowded apartment. been two years, and yet to find it.

General :: Handsfree Bluetooth Carkit - JB 4.2.1

Mar 24, 2014

I got a simple handsfree bluetooth carkit, wich works as a simple bt headset, transfers call audio to car speakers and nothin more, doesnt sync messages nor contacts, just a simple pair&go.

I had a sonyericson x-10 mini pro with android 2.1 that worked just fine, recently i've aquired a bq aquaris 5hd with jelly bean 4.2.1, and i cant get bluetooth to stay connected.

what happens is, i pair the two devices just fine, but then, they just remain connected for some secs and then connection is disabled, rendering the handsfee kits useless. i reconnect, after some secs it disconnects again. been reading on internet and it seems its a common problem with JB 4.2.1, these bluetooth issues.

HTC EVO 4G :: Bluetooth A2DP Sound Quality Errors

Jul 18, 2010

So far I love my EVO, but one thing that is really driving me crazy. With my Blackberry I had grown accustomed to streaming my music from my phone to a bluetooth stereo gateway in my car and my home.My BB sounded GREAT doing this. But the EVO has a really grungy crackling sound, especially when there is loud high frequency content, such as a lot of cymbals, etc. Some songs sound better than others depending on how they were recorded, but by in large it's very annoying.Even my wife, who is nowhere nearly as picky as I am about sound quality complains about it.I've tried to put up with it, but usually I resort to plugging directly into the aux jack. What a letdown for such an otherwise advanced phone! Is anyone else experiencing this? The research I've done so far indicates the the problem is that Android is locked at a relatively low "bitpool" setting, which is ok for voice, but doesn't provide the necessary bandwidth for decent music quality. Thus far I haven't found way to adjust this.Does anyone know of a solution, or if there is a solution coming? Will this be addressed in Froyo? It just sucks to have to plug my phone in again just to get decent sound quality.

HTC Droid Eris :: Bluetooth And Bump App Errors

Nov 26, 2009

I'm going to post this in the Motorola droid forum as well.I have searched all over and even read the user manual for my wife's droid eris. I have a Motorola droid and I cant send pictures to her or vice versa. When I try to pair the bluetooths,I get a dialogue box that asks for a PIN,so as it suggests, i tried 0000 and 1234.It says on my Moto droid, cant connect with Eris and on my eris it says, paired but not connected. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.I am merely trying to send pictures and media back and forth between the two phones.

Problem No. 2

We both have the BUMP application where yo can bump info between the two phones. Well as the instructions suggest,I open bump on both phones and bump them. When i do this, it says "Please Bump Again" and then at the bottom it says "you were the only person that bumped" ON BOTH PHONES it says this. What is the problem here? I cant find any help on this, even on their website.

Sprint HTC Hero :: Car Stereo Hands-Free Bluetooth Errors

Nov 19, 2009

I have a Blaupunkt Melbourn car stereo with the Blaupunkt USB/Bluetooth Interface installed in my car and it used to work just fine with my Sprint Mogul and Touch Pro, but I can't seem to make it work with my Hero. When I pair the two, the radio only recognizes the Hero as an audio source and not as a phone. In other words, I assume I can stream music from the phone to the radio but I can't answer the phone with it. I should add that the connection icon shows up as audio headphones instead of a phone handset in the Bluetooth Devices screen. And this is just the opposite of what I need. I could care less whether I can stream music, but I need to be able to use the car radio as a hands-free device and as I wrote in the last paragraph, the radio worked perfectly in that capacity with my last two phones. So does anyone have any idea whether this is a phone problem or a stereo problem? Does anyone have any idea if there's a work-around? For that matter, does anyone have any helpful information at all?

General :: How To Connect Android To PC In Handsfree Mode

Sep 22, 2012

In short what I'm looking for is instructions to be able to connect my HTC One X to my PC (windows 7 Home Edition) via Bluetooth and be able to use my PC's mic to talk and my PC's speakers to listen to the call.

In other words, I want my PC to act as a car's handsfree system.

It seems possible from the googling I have done.

Many articles tells you to connect your phone via BT and choose "Handsfree" as the service. However, when I connect my HOX the only service I get is a network connection (to tether my internet connection).

General :: Tablet As Handsfree (HFP 1.6)?

Jul 24, 2012

Does Android 4.1 allow a device to serve as a Hands-Free Profile (HFP) device? Similar to the way many newer cars come with integrated Bluetooth/HFP, I would like to use my tablet (Nexus 7) as a front-end for my phone. When an incoming call comes in, the phone should relay the call over Bluetooth to the tablet; it should also allow the tablet to make outgoing calls via Bluetooth over the phone's network.

I am not interested in solutions such as GrooveIP, Talkatone, and SIPDroid. I am specifically looking for Bluetooth HFP.I wouldn't mind looking into developing such a product - but I first wanted to know if the HSP 1.6 host API was available in Android 4.1. I've seen resources stating it was available in ICS 4.0, but I believe this is to allow Android devices to connect to third-party HSP devices - I'm looking to do the opposite (i.e. have the Android device serve as the HSP host).
